Current AEW World Champion Chris Jericho was recently in conversation with Sports Illustrated and during the interview, Y2J gave his take on his upcoming feud with Jon Moxley and how it will be different in AEW compared to their rivalry in WWE.
Chris Jericho on his feud with Jon Moxley in AEW
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Chris Jericho stated that his feud with Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose) was really good when the two men had initially feuded in WWE a couple of years ago.
However, the current AEW World Champion, who recently teased another feud with Moxley, claimed that this forthcoming feud between the pair will be totally different and that both he and Moxley will deliver on a different level. (H/T: Wrestling Inc)
"That feud in WWE was really damn good, but we're both so different now," Jericho said. "It won't be the same. Moxley was never this confident or this good in WWE. As Moxley said in our 'Talk is Jericho' podcast interview, he didn't know who he was in WWE. He was constantly at odds with the creative and at odds with himself. This is a completely new guy. Dean Ambrose was only a portion of his career. To me, Moxley is the real guy. And there is a new-look Chris Jericho with all this creative freedom in AEW, so it's going to be very intense and it's going to be a lot of fun.Published 03 Dec 2019, 05:09 IST
