Crown Jewel 2019: 4 Potential finishes for Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury

Who will come out on top in the Middle East?

Tyson Fury steps inside a WWE ring for the first time on Thursday night when he battles Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The Monster Among Men and The Gypsy King have had several faceoffs on WWE TV over the past few weeks, dating back to SmackDown's debut on FOX at the beginning of the month.

Fury was at ringside while Strowman was part of a chaotic match on the debut episode of WWE's Blue brand on the FOX Network and later appeared on Monday Night RAW where a promo led to a confrontation between the two men that then developed into a brawl.

WWE COO Triple H then called a press conference where he announced that Tyson Fury would be making his WWE debut at Crown Jewel when WWE travels to the Middle East on October 31st and would go one-on-one with The Monster Among Men.

Even though on paper there can only be one winner to this match, there are several potential finishes that could take place here.

#4. Tyson Fury defeats The Monster Among Men

WWE has brought in a number of athletes over the years, including a number of boxers like Mike Tyson and Floyd "Money" Mayweather and it appears that much of the time WWE allows these athletes to pick up the win.

After all, Fury's inclusion in the show has brought a number of eyes on the product and will help WWE's audience numbers when it comes to Crown Jewel which could be why he's the most likely winner in their upcoming match.

It's also worth remembering that Fury is a World Champion boxer, which means that he only has to land one punch and Strowman will be down for much longer than a three count.

#3. Braun Strowman overcomes The Gypsy King

When Floyd Mayweather headed to WWE to make the cross over and face The Big Show, it was in a boxing match, which was why he was able to come out on top. The interesting swerve here is the fact that Tyson Fury has agreed to wrestle The Monster Among Men, which means that whilst his fists are lethal, he will have to get into a good position to use them.

Braun Strowman is a wrestler, he has the advantage inside the squared circle and it seems that if The Monster Among Men can use Fury's weaknesses against him and dodge any punches that he's looking to land, then Strowman could come out on top.

Fury is only making the switch for one match whilst Strowman has to remain in WWE and perform on SmackDown the following week, which means that burying him by seeing him lose to someone who is making their in-ring debut would leave Strowman in a rough position on WWE TV moving forward.

It would only take one running powerslam to keep Fury down, which means Strowman could be seen as the favorite for a win here.

#2. Interference leads to a win for Fury

Will Drew Gulak sway the outcome of the match?
Will Drew Gulak sway the outcome of the match?

As mentioned before, after Thursday night Tyson Fury will go back to his boxing career whilst Braun Strowman will be expected to return to SmackDown and continue to perform for WWE.

If Strowman is defeated by Fury clean, then it would make him much less of a monster as he would have been defeated by someone making their in-ring debut.

In recent weeks, Strowman has put a target on Drew Gulak's back after the former Cruiserweight Champion tried to help him with his powerpoint presentation.

Drew was then attacked by The Monster Among Men a week later as he once again attempted to show the world his presentation, which could be leading to something.

If Gulak is the one to cause a distraction or involve himself in the match to help Fury pick up the win, then it would be a storyline for Strowman to continue coming out of Crown Jewel and it would make him look strong whilst still losing.

#1. Tyson Fury's "injury" costs him the match

Will Tyson Fury's injury affect him on Thursday night?
Will Tyson Fury's injury affect him on Thursday night?

Tyson Fury was attacked at WWE's Performance Center by The Monster Among Men last week, an attack that saw Braun Strowman push Fury who seemingly rolled on his ankle. It wasn't the usual brawl that the WWE Universe is used to seeing and the company made a point of showing that his ankle was injured.

It's now believed that WWE could be looking to use this "injury" to their advantage in the Middle East so that Strowman can pick up the win over Fury whilst he's weakened.

Fury only has to be knocked over on his ankle or Strowman could lock in an ankle lock. If the "injury" is made to look bad enough then The Monster Among Men can pick up the win over Fury.

It would be strange for the company to use an injury in Fury's only WWE match, but the boxer has never stepped in the ring before, so it will be interesting to see how much in-ring technique he has been able to pick up over the past few weeks.
