Del Rio suspended from this week's SmackDown

The current WWE World HeavyWeight Champion, Alberto Del Rio, has been suspended from this weeks edition of SmackDown.

The decision to suspend him was made by SmackDown General Manager Booker T as a follow up of the constant attacks by Del Rio on the No.1 contender for the title, The Big Show.

Booker T announced that “Following the incidents last Friday on SmackDown as well as this week on Raw, it is my duty as GM to suspend Alberto Del Rio. He will not be in action this Friday night and will not be in the building.”

The WWE has responded to this by saying that Booker T’s decision will definitely have a profound impact on the upcoming edition of SmackDown, but the question is how this decision will be actually affect the outcome of the title match between Alberto Del Rio and the Worlds Largest No.1 contender at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event.
