Roman Reigns has had help from both Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes ever since he returned at SummerSlam 2024. However, these are two men he did not want any help from but was out of options. It's possible that if The OTC had help from others, he wouldn't have teamed with The American Nightmare or reunited with The Yeet Master.
Considering Jey Uso is family, The OTC has embraced their reunion. However, he has already established that Cody Rhodes is old news and Reigns has moved on. However, during an interview on SI Media With Jimmy Traina, the former Tribal Chief did clarify that no one in his bloodline was happy with The American Nightmare holding the Undisputed WWE Championship belt, but singled out Jey Uso by name for being friends with Cody Rhodes:
"I don't know, Jey seems to be friends with everyone these days" [18:52]
A top AEW star has fired back at his critics HERE.
It seems that Roman Reigns is tolerating Jey Uso's friendship with Cody Rhodes and not encouraging it. The YEET Master made it clear that he and The OTC are equals ahead of The OG Bloodline reunion, therefore, it's unlikely Reigns will take any action against the the friendship.
Currently, The OTC needs Main Event Jey and not the other way around. He will not do anything to upset the former Intercontinental Champion ahead of WarGames. Once The OG Bloodline has taken over control from The Bloodline, Roman Reigns might put a choice in front of Jey Uso.
Roman Reigns explains why he took the chair shot on Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL
The defining moment of WrestleMania XL's main event was when The Visionary showed up in 'The Shield' gear and stood in the ring with Roman Reigns. The former Undisputed WWE Champion had a steel chair in hand and a choice to make. He could either take revenge on Rollins for betraying The Shield a decade ago or he could retain the championship.
The WWE Universe watched as the former Tribal Chief took down his former stablemate with the steel chair, giving Cody Rhodes the room to recover and destroy him for the championship. During the same interview, he explained the reasoning behind his decision:
"Anytime I have a chance to f*** him up, I'm going to take it very much as you got to believe that you got to believe it, but that's how I feel about him. Anytime I have a chance to pull the trigger on him, I'm going to, um, he, he's a constant reminder and, and a lesson to myself on, you know, who to trust and how to trust them."
Seth Rollins was approached multiple times by The OG Bloodline members to join them as a fifth member ahead of Survivor Series WarGames, but The Visionary consistently rejected their plea.
