Batista had spoken about a WWE run earlier this year on The Ross Report (h/t Wrestling Inc), and this is what he had to say:

I would love to go back, but the reason I have not gone back is because I don't want to do a one-off. I want to go and I want to wrestle. I want to do some house shows. I want to be a part of the program. And the one-off thing, the cheap pop thing, man, it doesn't do anything for me.

There hadn’t been too much that has become public about the length of Batista’s current WWE run, or if this run will be the Animal’s last in the WWE. However, he could very well stay longer than we expect him to stay. However, both cases could probably mean a loss for him.

The match has a stipulation; No Holds Barred. And, very few of these high-profile ‘anything goes’ matches end without interferences. A recent example was Triple H vs. Sting at WrestleMania 31, with DX and NWO making their mark in the match. And, the most obvious interferers to come to mind are Randy Orton and Ric Flair. The latter would certainly not be allowed any physical involvement, the former may very well come in to deliver ‘the three more destructive words in sports-entertainment’ – R. K. O.

A Randy Orton and Batista feud is something that will keep viewers tuned in for the fallout of WrestleMania. Hence, if Batista has a longer than expected stay waiting for him, expect him to take the pin at ‘Mania after the Viper strikes.
