#3 WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre (C) vs. Kevin Owens
Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36. He was challenged by The Big Show about 20 minutes after he had put down the Beast and also managed to defeat the World's Largest Athlete. There are several options for him to defend the WWE Championship against including Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton. However, all three of those Superstars are coming off significant losses at WrestleMania.
However, Kevin Owens scored a momentum boosting victory over Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36 and has earned a title shot. Kevin Owens has not challenged for the WWE Championship as a face in his career, and it would be great to see him finally get the chance to do so. Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens had a great match on RAW several months ago that ended in a no contest. It is only right for the two Superstars to get the chance to determine who is the better competitor.
