Christian and Edge have been one of the best tag teams that WWE has ever seen, winning numerous tag team titles and singles accolades along the way. Christian suffered a concussion few years back and hasn't appeared on TV for a long time.
He last appeared during one of the RAW episodes in a backstage segment with Edge and their tag team rivals – the Dudley Boyz – a few months back. There has been a big speculation that Christian has already retired from in-ring action due to the concussion issue.
WWE since recent times has a huge safety procedure regarding concussions which is the exact reason that is keeping Daniel Bryan out for so long.
Edge, while speaking with Slam Wrestling, revealed the status of Christian in the WWE. Edge said that Christian is still contracted to the WWE. His name has recently been taken down after long being on the main roster.
WWE Network wanted Christian and Edge to do an “Edge and Christian’s Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness”. Edge said that the WWE had to sell him the idea before he agreed to do the show with Christian.
