WWE creative should invest more in this storyline
Sheamus will be one of Drew McIntyre’s challengers inside the Elimination Chamber. He turned heel by attacking McIntyre on the first episode of WWE RAW after Royal Rumble. The Celtic Warrior stated that he has his eyes set on the prize and is ready to sacrifice his friendship with McIntyre to get his hands on the gold.

The feud has been in the making ever since WWE first started focusing on the long history shared between the two Superstars that dates back to the early days of their careers. In fact, almost everyone that faced McIntyre warned him to be careful about Sheamus. While this heel turn was not as shocking, it is something that fans were excited about.
But there is still a lot more that needs to happen in this rivalry as Sheamus gets more and more desperate to get his shot at the title. He was clearly unhappy that he did not get a singles match against McIntyre at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. In addition, the latter also stated that he wants to face his friend-turned-enemy without anyone’s interference.
The creative team should book an extended feud between both Superstars after McIntyre retains his championship inside the Elimination Chamber. Given the chemistry between the two Superstars, this storyline needs a lot more build-up, and Sheamus deserves to be booked strongly before he officially challenges his former friend for the gold.
