It seems like every time the summer rolls around, Samoa Joe is in the World Championship picture. In 2017, he faced off with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship and played his part in the Fatal Four-way main event at SummerSlam.
Last year, Joe took on AJ Styles and was really close to winning the WWE Championship. They say third time's the charm. Joe will challenge Kofi Kingston for the WWE title this Sunday at Extreme Rules.
This is the time for WWE to finally pull the trigger on the Samoan Submission Machine as it's now or never. He looks, acts, speaks and wrestles the part. That makes Joe one of the best all-rounders in WWE today.
Kofi's reign has been a decent one, with a fantastic moment and some good title defences, but it is time for the next man to conquer the world.
Samoa Joe should win the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules because his performances have certainly warranted it.
