WWE Royal Rumble 2019 is now officially in the history books. This year's Royal Rumble was live from the Chase Field, Phoenix.

In the kickoff show of this year's Royal Rumble, Raw tag team champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable defeated the team of Rezar and Scott Dawson. Also, in the kickoff show, Shinsuke Nakamura beat Rusev to become the new United States Champion. Buddy Murphy also retained his Cruiserweight Championship against Akira Tozawa, Kalisto and Hideo Itami in a Fatal 4-Way match.

The main show of this year's Royal Rumble kicked off with the SmackDown Women's Championship match between Asuka and Becky Lynch. After some incredible action, Asuka beat Becky Lynch to retain her title.

Next, The Bar faced the team of Shane McMahon and The Miz in a SmackDown Tag Team Championships match. Shane O'Mac pinned Cesaro to win the SmackDown tag team titles for his team.

Rowdy Ronda Rousey came out next to defend her Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks. After some amazing action, Rousey beat Sasha Banks to retain her title.

The Women's Royal Rumble match was next and Lacey Evans came out to begin the match. Many NXT superstars also made their appearance in the match. Becky Lynch also entered the match by replacing the injured Lana. Lynch won the Women's Royal Rumble match by eliminating Charlotte Flair.

Daniel Bryan came out next to face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. After some extraordinary action, Styles hit the Styles Clash on Bryan, but the returning Erick Rowan attacked Styles. Bryan then pinned Styles to retain his title. After the match, Erick Rowan and Daniel Bryan attacked AJ Styles before leaving the ring.

Next, Finn Balor went one-on-one against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Balor dominated most of the match, but Lesnar retained his title by locking Kimura Lock on Balor. After the match, Lesnar attacked Balor with a few German Suplexes. Lesnar finally hit an F-5 before leaving the arena.

The Men's Royal Rumble Match was the main event of this year's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne also made their appearance in the match. Nia Jax also entered the match after attacking R-Truth. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman were the last two men in the fight and the Architect eliminated Strowman via a Curb Stomp by the apron to win the match.
