WWE Super ShowDown is officially in the rearview mirror as WWE is now on the road to Stomping Grounds, set to take place two weeks from Sunday. A lot was expected from the Super ShowDown pay-per-view, and while many can say it was underwhelming and disappointing, it was still a newsworthy show and as always, fans couldn't wait to express their thoughts of the PPV on social media.

10 matches took place at the event, including a tag team match between The Usos and The Revival on the pre-show. Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin kick-started the show, where the Universal Championship was on the line. The two Superstars arguably put on a decent match despite the extremely hot temperature. The match lasted 11 minutes and Rollins pinned Corbin to retain his title.

After the match, Corbin attacked Rollins which then lead to Brock Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman walking to the ring with a referee so that Lesnar could cash in his Money in the Bank contract on a fallen Seth Rollins. However, Paul Heyman inadvisedly cost his client a chance to cash in when he tripped on the ropes while entering the ring. This allowed Rollins to attack a distracted Lesnar and escape with the big red belt.

Next, Finn Balor defended his Intercontinental Championship against Andrade. The two Superstars delivered a good match despite the heat and in the end, The Demon successfully retained his title by pinning Andrade.

Next, Shane McMahon (with Drew McIntyre) took on The Big Dog Roman Reigns in a singles match. Once again, Vince McMahon's son got another victory since WrestleMania by defeating Reigns, even though he didn't win cleanly. The match wasn't very significant but then again, no one was actually looking forward to it.

Following that, The Freak Lars Sullivan battled The Lucha House Party in a handicap match. While many expected Sullivan to demolish the LHP due to his size and gimmick, Lars unexpectedly won via disqualification.

While he did attack LHP after the match, it doesn't look good for him losing in such a way, and that too to smaller guys. Then again, his gimmick is quite generic and we have seen it many times before with wrestlers like Snitsky and Heidenreich, among others.

The Viper went one-on-one with his former mentor and Evolution faction mate, Triple H. This was the longest match on the card (excluding the battle royal, of course) and these two attempted to put on the best match that they possibly could. It's not like WrestleMania 25 where these two were in great shape and could put on a flawless match. After a second RKO, The Viper, or the "Legend Killer," defeated The Game once again.

Four more matches followed, which included Braun Strowman defeating Lashley, Kofi Kingston defeating Dolph Ziggler to retain the WWE Championship, Hometown hero Mansoor winning the 50-Man Battle Royal and the main event between Goldberg and The Undertaker.

So, what can we say about the main event or the entire PPV? Well, fans took to social media, where they posted their feelings and thoughts toward the said match and the entire event as well. This is what they had to say:
