#5 Velveteen Dream (North American Champion) vs Samoa Joe (United States Champion) vs Kevin Owens (Intercontinental Champion)

Coming to the mid-card title scene, NXT introduced the North American Championship last year. SmackDown and RAW already have the United States and the Intercontinental Championships on their brand.

A triple threat match between the three mid-card champions of all these brands would interest the fans in the mid-card scene of each brand as well.

For NXT, Velveteen Dream would represent the brand in this match as the North American Champion. From SmackDown, the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe, and from RAW, the Prizefighter Kevin Owens would enter the ring.

A very interesting fact to note here is how both Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens were also in NXT a few years ago. This shows the amount of impact NXT has on WWE programming and is another reason why NXT has what it takes to be the 3rd Official Brand.
