Fantasy booking WrestleMania 35 with only heels

Triple H vs Vince McMahon for the main event of an all-heel WrestleMania 35!
Triple H vs Vince McMahon for the main event of an all-heel WrestleMania 35!

The sports entertainment industry runs on two wheels, namely the heels and the faces. The heels are the bad guys who work hard to get the faces over with the crowd. In a way, the bad guys are the backbone of this industry.

WWE also has a plethora of heels currently with the likes of Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, and Drew McIntyre dominating that list. Usually, the creative team never books a heel vs heel match-up, as it provides no storyline development and bores the audience. This means that the heels cross paths very rarely.

In this article, however, we will have a look at how WWE would book WrestleMania, their grandest PPV with only heel superstars.

Here's what the WrestleMania 35 match card would look like with only heels.

#1 The Revival (c) vs AOP, RAW tag team championship match

Akam and Rezar vs Dash and Dawson would light up WrestleMania 35
Akam and Rezar vs Dash and Dawson would light up WrestleMania 35

For the opening encounter, we will have the RAW tag team championships on the line. The current RAW tag team champions, the Revival, would put their titles on the line against AOP. The two NXT graduates have immense talent and a match between the two teams would not bore the audience as well.

The teams can have several high spots along with a fantastic display of traditional tag team wrestling. These are the two top heel tag teams in the WWE. They had earlier clashed for the NXT tag team championships but it was in a triple threat match also involving #DIY.

So, this time the fans would get a two-on-two tag team match between the two villainous tag teams. I would have the AOP go over here and let Akam and Rezar walk out of the MetLife Stadium with the gold.

Winners and new RAW tag team champions - AOP

#2 The New Daniel Bryan (c) vs Buddy Murphy (c) - winner takes all match

What if Daniel Bryan takes over 205 Live as well?
What if Daniel Bryan takes over 205 Live as well?

Looking at the dearth of credible opponents on 205 Live, the Cruiserweight Champion, Buddy Murphy, can confront the WWE Champion, the new Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live after the Bearded G.O.A.T would have put away the challenge of Kofi Kingston at Fastlane.

Buddy Murphy vs Daniel Bryan in a Champion vs Champion, winner takes all match, would certainly steal the show at the Grandest Stage. WWE would build up the WrestleMania feud by having Daniel Bryan's weight as the focus point. Daniel Bryan weighs 210 lbs and as we all know, a superstar weighing 205 lbs or under can only challenge for the Cruiserweight Championship.

This match would have the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats as both wrestlers are magnificent inside the ring. A tough choice to pick the winner here, but after a grueling encounter, I would have the WWE Champion become a dual-brand champion.

Winner and the new Cruiserweight Champion - The WWE Champion, The New Daniel Bryan

#3 The Usos (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev w/Lana - SmackDown Live tag team championships match

We will get new SmackDown tag team champions at WrestleMania 35
We will get new SmackDown tag team champions at WrestleMania 35

The Usos defeated the Best Tag Team in the World to become the new tag team champions of SmackDown Live at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The twin brothers would retain the tag titles in their match at Fastlane as well and then would wait for their next opponents.

In what will be the Usos’ first-ever two-on-two tag team match on the Show of Shows, the unlikely duo of Nakamura and Rusev would emerge as the new #1 contenders for the SmackDown Live tag team championships and battle the Samoan superstars at WrestleMania 35.

The team of Rusev and Nakamura have tremendous potential and with Lana on their side, the team can pull off some cheeky heel techniques as well.

At WrestleMania, during this match-up, Lana would try her best to distract the Usos but Naomi would interfere. Nakamura would deliver a Kinshasa to Jimmy Uso’s wife, leading to Jimmy getting distracted and Rusev hitting him with a Maçka kick for the 3 count.

Winners and new SmackDown Live tag team champions - Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura

#4 Stephanie McMahon (c) vs Alexa Bliss, RAW Women's Championship match

A dream match for the fans
A dream match for the fans

In a shocker, we would see Stephanie McMahon dethrone Ronda Rousey as the RAW Women's Champion ahead of WrestleMania 35 at WWE Fastlane in what will become the next most disliked video on WWE's YouTube channel.

Vince McMahon would then give the SmackDown women's championship match (there's a twist there as well ahead) to Charlotte Flair, as he would not want the genetically superior female superstar to take on his daughter.

Instead, he would announce a #1 contender's ladder match on an episode of RAW which may see the expert of ladder matches and former Ms. Money in the Bank, Alexa Bliss, win the match to set up a clash with Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 35.

This whole feud will be built on how much Alexa Bliss respects Stephanie McMahon and all that stuff. At WrestleMania 35, Little Miss Bliss would try her best to defeat Stephanie but the Billion Dollar Princess will retain her RAW Women's Championship with some help from a woman completely concealed in golden attire (SPOILER - she is not Kurt Angle's illegitimate daughter).

Winner and still the RAW Women's Champion - Stephanie McMahon

#5 Aiden English (c) vs Randy Orton, United States Championship match

Aiden English vs Randy Orton looks like a feud with huge potential
Aiden English vs Randy Orton looks like a feud with huge potential

Aiden English is perhaps the most underrated heel in WWE currently, and so I would have him rise up by winning the United States Championship at WWE Fastlane from R-Truth. Next, 'the Viper' Randy Orton would attack English for no reason and this would lead to Triple H announcing a United States Championship match between English and Orton.

Orton would be the more devious heel in this feud as he has a more dangerous persona than Aiden English. However, the crowd may still be behind Orton, as the Shakespeare of Songs would irritate the WWE Universe with his songs while Randy will respond to him with an RKO every week.

I will have Aiden English booked as a transitional champion at WrestleMania, as the Apex Predator would win the US title from him and kick off one of the greatest title reigns of his career. This storyline could indeed help in increasing the prestige of the US title.

Winner and new United States Champion - Randy Orton

#6 Bobby Lashley (c) vs Tommaso Ciampa, Intercontinental Championship match

Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa

Bobby Lashley will perhaps challenge for the Intercontinental Championship at Fastlane, and given that this WrestleMania fantasy booking comprises all heels, I would have Lashley re-capture the Intercontinental Championship from Finn Balor.

Lashley would build an undefeated streak heading into WrestleMania 35, and this would mean that no superstar would rightly earn the opportunity to challenge the All Mighty. The Authority would announce a battle royale featuring all NXT Superstars and will have the winner challenge Lashley for the title.

Ciampa would win that match and progress to make his WrestleMania debut against Bobby Lashley. To give a strong push to the NXT Champion, the WWE will have him go over Lashley at the Grandest Stage and become the new Intercontinental Champion. Ciampa could have a great title reign on the main roster just like on NXT.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion - Tommaso Ciampa

#7 Mandy Rose (c) vs Charlotte Flair, SmackDown Women's championship match

The Queen vs the Golden Goddess for the SmackDown Women's Championship
The Queen vs the Golden Goddess for the SmackDown Women's Championship

Mandy Rose stunned the WWE Universe with a win over the SmackDown Live Women's Champion, Asuka, this past week on SmackDown Live. This could lead us to a title match between the two at WWE Fastlane where Rose would win her first ever championship in the WWE.

As mentioned earlier in the article, Vince McMahon allotted Charlotte Flair an opportunity to challenge the SmackDown women's champion at WrestleMania 35. Thus, we would get a clash between Charlotte and Mandy for the top prize of the blue brand's women's division.

In this match, I would definitely have Rose's fluke victories come to an end as Flair would make quick work of the Golden Goddess to become a record 8-time Women's Champion in WWE.

Winner and new SmackDown Women's Champion - Charlotte Flair

#8 The Samoan Slaughterhouse (c) vs The IIconics vs The Bella Twins vs The Riott Squad, 4 Corners tag team match for the Women's Tag Team Championships

The Bellas
The Bellas

Tamina and Nia Jax will battle Sasha Banks and Bayley for the Women's Tag Team Champions at Fastlane and as we want an all-heel WrestleMania, the Samoan Slaughterhouse would capture the tag titles.

They will injure their opponents at Fastlane to rule them out of WrestleMania, leading to WWE naming new challengers for the titles. The Bella Twins would release a video on Instagram revealing that they will be at WrestleMania 35, and this would "earn" them a tag team title shot at WrestleMania.

To make things not look monotonous, WWE will have multiple participants in this match and include the IIconics and the Riott Squad in the mix to spice up WrestleMania 35.

The Bella Twins worked hard to prepare an Instagram video, and so they deserve to win the Women's tag team championships at WrestleMania 35.

Winners and new Women's tag team champions - Nikki and Brie, The Bella Twins

#9 Brock Lesnar (c) vs Drew McIntyre, Universal Championship match

Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre for the Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre for the Universal Championship

Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins has been locked in for WrestleMania 35, but there's a twist here. Seth Rollins fell off his bed just before the contract signing at Fastlane and injured his back in the process. This has ruled him of WrestleMania 35.

Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania opponent will be revealed at the contract signing at Fastlane. James Ellsworth's music would hit but Enzo Amore would come out promising to retire Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35.

Lesnar will crush the Certified G before he would meet with a Claymore Kick out of nowhere. Drew McIntyre would sign the contract and say, "Brock, you are on!" (pointing the WrestleMania sign).

Drew McIntyre would then go on to slay the Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania 35 and become the new Universal Champion of RAW.

Winner and new Universal Champion - Drew McIntyre

#10 WrestleMania 35 main event - Triple H vs Vince McMahon, No Disqualification match, winner takes control of WWE

Man! This match would kill the internet
Man! This match would kill the internet

Vince McMahon is being heavily criticized by the fans for his predictable booking decisions on WWE TV. On the other hand, Triple H is praised for his new vision in wrestling, and many members of the WWE Universe want him to head WWE's main roster.

So, the two top authority guys would clash in the main event of WrestleMania 35, with the control of WWE on the line. This would be a no disqualification match, meaning that all the legendary superstars will interfere and try to get their ally to win the match.

In a blockbuster main event, superstars like 'the Best in the World' Shane McMahon, Bobby Roode, the Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels would help Triple H, while Roman Reigns, John Cena, Braun Strowman, the Rock, and Hulk Hogan will help Vince McMahon win the match.

Amidst a lot of finishers and signature moves, in the end, Stone Cold Steve Austin would come out and hit Vince McMahon with a stunner and put Triple H over him to end the night in a historic manner.

This match would certainly kill the internet, and the RAW after WrestleMania would easily cross the 5-million mark in ratings and viewership.
