Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins’ five-month reign as WWE Tag Team Champions came to an end in October 2013 when The Big Show interfered in their match against Cody Rhodes and Goldust on RAW.

Towards the end of the match, the seven-foot Superstar hit Roman Reigns with a KO Punch from outside the ring, allowing Cody Rhodes to take advantage by pinning a knocked-out Reigns to claim the titles for his team.

While the majority of the names in this list still work for WWE, Cody Rhodes’ career path has taken several twists and turns since he recorded a rare pinfall win over Roman Reigns.

The former Legacy member left WWE at the end of his contract in 2016 and he soon began working for wrestling companies all around the world, including NJPW, ROH and IMPACT Wrestling, as well as various independent promotions.

Nowadays, Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest marquee name on the full-time WWE roster, while Cody Rhodes has become one of the most talked-about people in the wrestling business since the introduction of AEW in 2019.

Rhodes combines his off-screen role as an Executive Vice President of AEW by continuing to perform as an on-screen talent.

As of the time of writing, he currently holds the AEW TNT Championship.
