#4 Jinder Mahal Defeats Roman Reigns clean

It's no secret that WWE is applying the breaks on Roman Reigns' push right now and there is probably no better way to do that than to have Reigns take a loss to Jinder Mahal at Money in The Bank. Not only would the result lead to a rematch down the line between the two, it would also keep Reigns out of the title picture, which is something the fans want right now.

With that being said, this doesn't mean that Reigns can't come out the winner of the feud down the line, but a loss for him creates that stop gap that WWE need right now until they figure out how to rebuild and repackage him. In fact, a loss to Mahal could be an important step for Reigns if WWE can somehow get fans to feel sympathy for him.

In the end, it's a long shot at best, but WWE really do not have too many other options with this one. Sure, they can have Reigns come away with the victory over Mahal and somehow re-enter the title picture before SummerSlam in September, but the move would receive criticism from fans, much like what happened at Backlash.
