Whether The WWE wants to accept it or not, it seems like WWE's plan is still to do Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar at Summerslam Of course fans aren't going to be happy about that, but his recent shift in character on Monday night Raw points to Reigns undergoing a massive amount of change to get to that point.

According to Cagesideseats.com's WWE Rumor Roundup, "Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal title is still the plan, and Vince McMahon is sticking with the original story idea from WrestleMania. That’s the point behind all the Lesnar stuff, to get fans hating him and babyface Reigns for his title win."

With that being said and WWE's sudden change in how they book Roman Reigns in mind, WWE is definitely playing off of a lot of moving parts and capitalizing on it to help get Roman Reigns over. Whether it ultimately succeeds or not remains to be seen and will be dependent on how WWE builds upon this, but they took a step in the right direction already!
