Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny made his first WWE appearance at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January 2021.
The most streamed global artist of 2021, for the second consecutive year, teamed up with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. They performed his hit single, named after the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, entitled "Booker T."
Sadly, the performance was done inside the WWE Thunderdome due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions. It meant that Bad Bunny played in-front of no fans, but the performance was praised by many around the world.
Overall, the video posted on Twitter received over 1 million views and 58.4k likes, no doubt attracting many of his fans to witness the performance.
The night also sparked a longer-term plan for Bad Bunny which would ultimately see him perform in the ring at WrestleMania a few months later. WWE certainly wanted to make the most of securing the services of one of the biggest artists around.
