The Rated R Superstar did it again at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January 2021.
He went on to win the Men's Royal Rumble match for the second time in his career. The night also marked the one-year anniversary of his return, after he retired from the ring due to injury in 2011.

WWE Hall of Famer Edge outlasted 29 other superstars, entering the Rumble match at number one. He recorded 58:38 minutes in the match before eliminating arch nemesis and former friend Randy Orton to win.
Following his Royal Rumble victory, Edge spoke exclusively to WWE:
"If you had told me four years ago that I’d be in the Royal Rumble, enter the match first, win it, and go onto WrestleMania…. I feel like I still need to pinch myself and feel like I’m going to wake up." (h/t Wrestling Inc.)
