Five People Who Will Be Negatively Affected By John Cena and Nikki Bella's Breakup

John Cena and Nikki Bella have officially called it quits this week, effectively putting an end to their six-year relationship. The announcement comes only one year after John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33, which happened after years of speculation that they would never marry and even was even featured on the reality show Total Divas.

With that being said and the former WWE power couple making their breakup official with a statement, one has to wonder what the fall out from all of this will be and if it will affect anyone negatively. In fact, one has to wonder if this break up even has the power to end someone's career?

#5 The WWE

Vince McMahon, WWE — Will WWE take a side after Nikki and John's breakup?

Unfortunately for The WWE, John Cena and Nikki Bella's breakup is a particularly bad thing for the WWE. Not only does the break up put WWE in a position of possibly having to choose between Nikki and John Cena, especially with how Cena has been known to help Nikki in her career at times, it also destroys the touching moment at WrestleMania 34 as well.

While one would hope that Cena and Bella would be able to keep things cordial in a place of business, Cena has been known for getting superstars fired in the past and could even do it again if he is provoked far enough. Of course, that is just speculation at this time and it will depend on if Cena has matured or not, but its at least possible.

In fact, Cena is believed to be the reason that Kenny Dykstra and Mickie James got fired from WWE after Cena and James had an affair. James wasn't fired right away, but her boyfriend was and James followed him out the door after being moved to SmackDown for a lacklustre run.

In the end, Cena holds a lot of power in The WWE, especially with Vince McMahon and if he wants something done, it will usually happen.

#4 Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella, along with her sister have managed to make quite the brand for themselves inside and outside the ring, but its impossible to say whether Cena played a great big hand in some of that happening. While The Bella Twins entrepreneur endeavours are probably their own, Cena has been known to politic backstage in favour of his girlfriend's career.

With that being said, and Cena holding a lot of weight backstage, it will be interesting to see if The Bella Twins careers are affected or not and what happens between Cena and Bella in the future. Does the break up force The Bella's to leave The WWE? Or can they separate their personal lives from business?

#3 Daniel Bryan

Another person that Cena can blackball backstage is Daniel Bryan, who despite having a large following from fans, still wouldn't have the kind of power that Cena does backstage. With that in mind and both superstars being main event contenders, one has to wonder if Cena would intentionally hold Bryan back in order to send a message to Nikki?

Again, this all depends on Cena's maturity level and if the breakup was mutual, we are simply going into Cena's past to show a pattern of how Cena has ruined careers in the past. Whether he actually does it again is up to him, but if history is any indicator, it could definitely happen again.

#2 John Cena

John Cena has got to be hurting right now! Not only was that evident by the broken heart he posted on his Instagram before making the announcement, but also by just how far the relationship between the two had gotten. Think about it! These two people have seen each other through injury after injury, title match after title match and victory and defeat!

These two people have been through everything together and now its all gone in the matter of an instant. That has to hurt Cena, Nikki, Brie and everyone involved in the matter, but it also has to take a little competitive fire out of each of them as well. In the end, all that matters is how both Nikki and Cena do after this, but one has to wonder how that will all play out.

Does Cena lose interest in wrestling after losing the love of his life, does he step away from WWE altogether at some point? What about Nikki? How will she rebound after losing the man she loved for so long? There are a lot of questions to answer in this one and that's probably whats going to make it so interesting to watch.

#1 The Fans

Then there are the fans.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of Nikki Bella and John Cena fans that came together under the reign of their favourite power couple. Facebook pages were made, silly little romantic memes were created by their owner and even WWE itself began to publicly mention the power couple on weekly television.

With that being said, it was an experience that everyone participated in on different levels and it's going to be very hard to deal with the news regardless of what level you're on. For fans, it's going to be the end of one of the most iconic couples, for the family its a little bit deeper and for the people themselves, its above neck deep.

In the end, hopefully, each side will help the other heal and maybe Cena and Nikki will help each other heal as well in a show of true friendship. Whether that ends up happening or not remains to be seen, but they should at least split as nicely as they can for the sake of the fans that love them to death.
