Io Shirai is no stranger to the Royal Rumble match in WWE. She entered the women's battle royal in 2019 and was eliminated by Nia Jax.

The former multi-time champion of World Wonder Ring Stardom certainly deserve another opportunity in the match. She has consistently excelled on the NXT brand, and it's fair to wonder whether it's time she moves to RAW or SmackDown.

The women's division on the blue brand needs more depth, and Shirai could perfectly slot in and add some star power. Being selected for the Rumble match could be the start of that journey for the former NXT Women's Champion.

By competing in the Rumble match, she can finally show everyone just how far she's come. To literally demonstrate her progress, she can lift the NXT Women's Championship high above her head as she enters the bout match.

Mandy Rose would be the perfect addition to the Women's Rumble match, and she would add even more buzz to the bout.
