WWE might have brought Bobby Lashley back to put into The Universal Title picture, but that idea doesn't really seem to be working right now. In fact, between his lackluster feud with Sami Zayn a few months ago and the current feud with Roman Reigns, the adds are inevitably stacked against Lashley going on to face Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.

While Lashley remains the more refreshing option then Reigns and a few other Raw stars, he is being bogged down by crappy writing, his often boring persona and how he is being booked in his feud with Reigns right now. If nothing else, Reigns going on to face Lesnar at Summerslam remains the likelier option and Lashley continuous problems only confirm this.

In the end, maybe there is something that is being missed here and The WWE Universe actually wants to see these two square off at Summerslam, but it just doesn't seem like a good idea. Not only is that evident by how Lashley is struggling to connect with the crowd right now, but also by the underwhelming way he has been booked so far.
