Former NWO member praises Kenny Omega 

In a show of respect, former NWO member and WCW legend Konnan praised Kenny Omega for his recent work. Omega is the current AAA Mega Champion and successfully defended his title at TripleMania Regia against Dragon Lee.

Who is Konnan?

Konnan is a legend in the professional wrestling circuit. He briefly wrestled in WWE as Max Moon but his most successful run came in WCW. He was a member of NWO Wolfpac and also formed the Filthy Animals alongside Disco Inferno, Rey Mysterio, and Billy Kidman.

When WCW was purchased by WWE, he declined a move and began wrestling on the independent circuit. He also had a good run in Impact Wrestling, where he managed LAX, and is part of the current creative team. Konnan also worked in MLW and AAA, where he still makes brief appearances.

What did Konnan say about Kenny Omega?

Konnan praised Kenny Omega on Twitter, stating that he is a very special performer.

Those are strong words coming from someone who was quite innovative in the ring and has always been upfront with his opinions.

Meanwhile, the AAA-AEW relationship continues to grow with Kenny Omega as champion and it's possible that there will be more crossovers in the future.
