WWE News: Former Women's Champion to induct Ivory to the Hall of Fame
What’s the story?
Former Two time WWE Women's Champion Molly Holly has been announced to be inducting Ivory into the WWE Hall of Fame.
In case you didn’t know…
Ivory and Holly are very good friends. The two traveled together a lot during their time together in WWE.
They also feuded on WWE TV in 2000, as a part of the Right To Censer's feud with Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly and the then recently debuted Molly Holly.
Ivory and Holly also briefly feuded in late 2003 for the WWE Women's Championship, culminating in a match at WWE Armageddon 2003.
They were also briefly allies on WWE TV during the Alliance angle.
The heart of the matter
WWE announced on Monday, the 23 of March that Holly would induct her former partner and rival, into the WWE Hall of Fame. WWE commented saying:
''Molly Holly was a rival and partner of Ivory during their illustrious in-ring careers in WWE. Now, Holly will have the distinction of inducting Ivory into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018 on Friday, April 6, in New Orleans during WrestleMania 34 Week."
The two were trailblazers in the squared circle, creating a path that helped lead to today’s Women’s Evolution.
It is perfectly fitting that Holly, a two-time WWE Women’s Champion, inducts Ivory, a three-time titleholder, into sports-entertainment immortality.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, on Friday, April 6.
Ivory will be joined by Goldberg, Jeff Jarrett, the Dudley Boyz, Hillbilly Jim, Mark Henry, celebrity inductee Kid Rock and Warrior Award recepient Jarrius "JJ" Robertson.
A great choice. WWE higher-ups make the decision on who inducts who, so it was nice that they chose a close friend of Ivory's to induct her.
