What’s the story?

As noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former WWE Superstar Alberto El Patron could likely return to AAA (Asistencia Asesoria y Adminsitracion) very soon.

Additionally, details on a major AAA event at which El Patron is likely to perform at later this year, have also been revealed.

In case you didn’t know…

Alberto El Patron has performed in several notable professional wrestling promotions the world over including Lucha Underground, ROH, Impact Wrestling and the WWE.

El Patron has also wrestled for AAA in the past, however, has been involved in more than a few highly-publicized fallouts with the aforementioned AAA executive Dorian Roldan; who is the son of AAA President Marisela Pena AAA General Director Joaquin Roldan.

The heart of the matter

As reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Alberto El Patron has asserted that he’s very close to making his AAA return.

Apparently, El Patron has alluded that his AAA comeback would come to fruition at Triplemania—one of the promotion’s most important annual events.

Furthermore, one ought to note that despite having previously had several disagreements with one another, as regards working together, El Patron and Dorian Roldan have talked things out and reached a verbal agreement. Nevertheless, the verbal agreement—be that as it may—El Patron wants the agreement on paper before she returns to AAA.

What’s next?

The vast majority of professional wrestling industry experts believe that El Patron will indeed return to AAA for Triplemania XXVI this August.

El Patron presently performs on the independent professional wrestling circuit and will work sporadically for Impact Wrestling as well over the course of the 2018 calendar year.

Alberto El Patron is a decent worker and an entertaining persona on the mic as well.

Given a tumultuous 2017 that saw him make headlines for alleged domestic disputes, here’s hoping he turns his career around this year.
