There are two more names expected to be announced for this year's Hall of Fame class

What's the story?

The Hall of Fame Class of 2018 is already taking shape with the induction of the likes of Goldberg, The Dudley Boys, Ivory, and Jeff Jarrett already announced. But it seems that there are a number of other stars yet to join this year's class.

In case you didn't know...

Goldberg was the first name added to this year's Hall of Fame class ahead of The Royal Rumble back in January and it seems that he will be this year's headliner with many rumours suggesting that it could be Paul Heyman who inducts the former Universal Champion into the Hall of Fame in April.

The Dudley Boys then joined this year's class after their exploits in WWE and ECW almost guaranteed that the duo would take their place amongst the elite of professional wrestling at some point as well as Ivory who definitely deserves her spot.

Jeff Jarrett was the latest name added to this year's class this week and was the one name that no WWE fan ever expected to see in the WWE Hall of Fame.

The heart of the matter

The Wrestling Observer recently noted that the only name from the early list of leaked stars who could be added to the class are Bam Bam Bigelow and Kid Rock. It seems that whilst Jarrett was one name that was unpredictable, the other names on the list were revealed ahead of time and Bigelow and Kid Rock could be the last ones to be added to this year's class in the coming weeks.

WWE has been using Kid Rock's music to promote WrestleMania 34 in recent weeks and have always had a decent working relationship with the singer, which could be why he is rumoured to be the man set to be added to this year's celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame along with the likes of Mr. T and Donald Trump.

What's next?

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place two nights before this year's WrestleMania on 6 April and will see all these names take their rightful places amongst the elite.

Author's take

It has been an interesting year when it comes to Hall of Fame announcements since many of the WWE Universe expected The Undertaker to be one of the names to be added to the class. Jeff Jarrett was definitely a wild card and many fans will definitely be turning in to watch the ceremony live now to see what Jarrett does when he is allowed to have an uncensored mic on Live TV.

Bigelow is someone who deserves his place in the Hall of Fame so it could be interesting to see if he is one of the final names to be added in the coming weeks.
