For the last two weeks, Bliss has only appeared in taped segments

What's the story?

After losing her Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34, Alexa Bliss fought in a tag team match on Raw the next day. That is the last we saw Bliss in action.

Now Ringside News has speculated about when Alexa Bliss might be back to in-ring action.

In case you didn’t know…

Alexa Bliss lost her Raw Women's Championship to Nia Jax at the grandest stage of them all earlier this month. On Raw the next night, Bliss took part in a tag team match along side Mickie James to take on a debuting Ember Moon and Nia Jax.

Since then, though, Bliss has only appeared on TV in taped backstage segments. She has not been seen in person after the 9 April edition of Raw.

The heart of the matter

The Goddess supposedly missed out on all the action and was even absent for WWE's tour of South Africa as she recently had minor cosmetic surgery, though we cannot be sure about the nature of the surgery.

If recent reports are to be believed, the former Women's Champion will be back in action in around two weeks time, in time for her rematch against Nia Jax for the Raw Women's Championship at Backlash. We can expect that Bliss will be seen only in taped segments for the next two episodes of Raw as well.

On Raw last week, Bliss was part of a new segment called 'A Moment of Bliss', in which she continued insulting Jax with made-up stories. It looks like this might be a new segment on Raw every week.

What's next?

Bliss will next take on current Champion Nia Jax at WWE's next PPV Backlash, scheduled for 5 May, for the Raw Women's Championship.

Author's take

Alexa Bliss is perhaps the one of the best mic workers in WWE today and continues to play the perfect heel, while Jax has seamlessly transformed into a babyface. Here's hoping the Goddess of WWE is back to the thick of things soon!
