From the WWE rumor mill:  Backup plan for Survivor Series if Roman Reigns cannot compete

We last saw Roman Reigns last month inside of a steel cage battling Braun Strowman...

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that there is a "Plan B" in place for Survivor Series if Roman Reigns is not ready to compete by November 19th.

According to the report, the WWE will have Jason Jordan replace Reigns and play up the storyline that this would be the first time ever that Jordan and his father Kurt Angle would be teaming up.

Reigns is currently recovering from the same viral infection that put Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas on the shelf; which caused all three of them to miss the TLC pay per view last month. The WWE expects to have Roman Reigns back in time for Survivor Series, but that expectation changed over the weekend.

Johnson confirmed that Reigns is not currently hospitalised, but there is a concern that they would rush him back too soon if they put him in the Survivor Series 5-on-5 elimination match for Team Raw against Team SmackDown.

Roman Reigns last appeared for WWE on the October 16th edition of Monday Night Raw when he faced off against Braun Strowman in a steel cage bout; a match that also included the surprise return of Kane.
