On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, it was revealed that Daniel Bryan could participate in the upcoming 50-Man Royal Rumble Match.

The WWE’s 50-Man Royal Rumble Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event that takes place next month could indeed see Bryan emerge victoriously. Besides, a few additional details on the same have also been noted.

The WWE recently announced that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to make a return to in-ring competition.

Following which, the WWE Universe and professional wrestling fans the world over, have been speculating as to which major matchups the highly-regarded mat worker could compete in and possibly win in the months to come.

The heart of the matter

In a recent interview with Al Arabiya, Daniel Bryan asserted that the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event could possibly end up being historically more significant than WrestleMania. Intriguingly, Bryan added that he’d love to participate in the 50-Man Royal Rumble matchup, however, he’s yet to be accorded a spot in the same.

Addressing the 50-Man Royal Rumble Match, veteran professional wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer explained that Bryan could very well compete in it and end up winning the said matchup.

Furthermore, Meltzer also weighed in on Bryan being one of the favorites to win the Royal Rumble Match which took place in January of this year. Meltzer noted that the betting odds led to rumors of WWE clearing Bryan to make his in-ring return, however, there is no truth to said rumors as they had nothing to do with people being aware of him wrestling again.

The WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble event takes place at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27th.

The event is set to be a Network and PPV special and, will see the Cruiserweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championships, SmackDown Tag Team Championships, Universal Championship and, the WWE Championship defended in Saudi Arabia.

Nevertheless, before the aforementioned event, Daniel Bryan is set to team up with Shane McMahon to take on Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 34 which takes place on April 8th.

Honestly speaking, it would be great if Daniel Bryan finally gets redemption for his infamous loss at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

The WWE is doing a commendable job of executing its global expansion plans, and a world-renowned WWE Superstar such as Bryan winning the marquee match of the show would be the cherry on top.
