What's the story?

Lacey Evans is currently 'The Lady of NXT' and is on a mission to clean up the inferior women of the yellow bran. However, her recent appearance at an NXT house show could indicate that a new gimmick is in store for the Pin-Up.

In case you didn't know...

Lacey Evans was one of the more impressive Superstars to compete in the Mae Young Classic and the former U.S. Marine has looked great on NXT with her vintage Pin-Up gimmick.

She is currently working as a heel, cutting promos against popular female NXT faces like Nikki Cross and Ember Moon, highlighting that she is going to clean up the women's division because she is a 'proper lady' and they are not.

The heart of the matter

At a recent house show in Cocoa, Lacey Evans appeared to debut a new gimmick which is quite the departure from her vintage Pin-Up look, swapping the victory rolls for camo-shorts, braids in her hair and a branded t-shirt naming her an 'All-American Bad Girl'.

As you can also see, she's not alone as she appears to be working with the newly minted tag-team, The Forgotten Sons, who are set to appear on NXT over the next few weeks. However, it also appears that The Forgotten Sons are on their way to becoming a stable, with existing members Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler being joined by Chad Lail and Lacey Evans.

What's next?

It's unclear what exactly The Forgotten Sons stable will be, but rumours suggest that it appears to be an ex-military stable. In any case, we'll be introduced to them as a tag-team to start with, when they debut on the February 21st episode of NXT.

Author's take

With Undisputed ERA, SAnitY and now The Forgotten Sons are we heading towards a new era of factions in NXT/WWE? I sure hope so.
