From the WWE Rumor Mill: Has WWE already cleared Paige for an in-ring return?

The Ani
The Anti-Diva is coming back

What's the story?

Paige has been out of action for quite some time after suffering a neck injury. But now it looks like she's on her way to a full recovery because she's been at the WWE Performance Center for the past two days.

Bryan Alvarez elaborated on what he knows during Wrestling Observer Live.

In case you didn't know....

Paige has been through her fair share of struggles throughout her life, especially in the past year. She was recovering from a neck injury along with everything else she had to deal with as well.

While travelling the globe with Alberto El Patron she was a part of a couple controversial scenarios. Some people thought Paige and WWE might have said goodbye for good but all that changed thanks to some social media action from Paige

The heart of the matter

Paige posted a picture of the WWE Performance Center on September 18th alerting everyone what she was up to. It surprised a lot of people and excited even more to know Paige was on WWE property once again.

On her second day back at the Performance Center, she updated her fans to let them know how it was going. She thanked everyone for their support and said she's feeling great being back at work.

Bryan Alvarez explained what he knew about the matter on Wrestling Observer Live. Thanks to WrestlingNews.co for the transcription.

"Here's what I know. She was down there obviously based on her Instagram and they were evaluating her neck and so the fact that there is a story here on WWE.com about her apparent imminent return, my guess is her neck checked out just fine and she's going to be back before you know it."

Paige is also listed as a free agent on WWE's website which has led some to believe she'll end up on SmackDown Live when she returns.

Alvarez speculated this would be the case since Raw got Asuka and Paige wasn't included in the WWE Superstar Shake-Up.

What's next?

Paige will do well no matter which brand she goes to. She's been missed on WWE television and has already lost her slot on Total Divas.

Hopefully, she'll pick up where she left off and can reclaim her position on top of WWE's Women's Division

Author's take

No matter what your personal opinion of Paige might be you have to feel for her. She's been through a lot in the past year and she's been a victim a couple of times.

But with her apparent WWE return coming soon, hopefully, she'll have a chance to prove herself once again so people can be reminded of how great a wrestler she is.
