RAW Superstar Paige was reportedly injured in a six-man tag team match following a dropkick from Sasha Banks, but she is said to be doing better.
The report comes from PWInsider which says that Paige was believed to have suffered a nerve pinch injury, but she doesn’t need hospitalization.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley informed fans via Twitter that the leader of Absolution was doing better after her injury scare.
Many fans speculated whether or not she would join Dean Ambrose and The Brian Kendrick on the list of recently injured WWE superstars, but Paige was spotted at the WWE hotel in Long Island after the show which likely indicates that her injury scare was nothing serious.
Paige, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose competed against Banks, Bayley and Mickie James at Wednesday’s Raw live event at the Nassau Coliseum. The injury scare would occur when Banks hit a dropkick from behind on Paige which resulted in their match being declared a no-contest despite the original plan for Absolution to win the match.
Paige’s history of neck issues was a major cause of concern following her injury scare. The former Diva’s Champion had neck issues back in 2016 that required surgery and put her out of action until the Raw after Survivor Series 2017.
