What’s the story?

The first SmackDown Live pay-per-view since SummerSlam 2017, 'Hell in a Cell' takes place in October, and so far, only two matches have been made official on television.

NoDQ.com reports that six more matches that could be added to the Hell in a Cell Card. We bring you the rumoured card, in this piece.

In case you didn't know...

The 'Hell in a Cell' pay-per-view is best known for the use of the iconic and devious structure that has been part of many infamous WWE moments.

The only two matches that WWE has confirmed for Hell In a Cell are the WWE Championship match between Nakamura and Mahal, and a Hell in a Cell match between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens.

The heart of the matter

As reported by NoDQ based on existing feuds, prospective storylines that seem to be brewing, and feuds that are being rumored to play out in the coming weeks, the following is the list of matches rumored to take place at Hell in a Cell in three weeks:

The New Day(c) vs. The Usos – SmackDown Tag Team Titles [Hell in a Cell]
AJ Styles(c) vs. Baron Corbin – United States Championship
Natalya(c) vs. TBA – SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bobby Rhoode vs. Dolph Ziggler
Randy Orton vs. Rusev
Sami Zayn vs. Aiden English

This is, of course, in addition to the two matches we just mentioned. Of course, this is just a rumor at this time, and should not be taken at face value, at the moment.

What’s Next?

The Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will take place on Oct. 8, 2017 and will be aired from the Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

Author’s Take

SmackDown Live has been rather underwhelming of late, and one hopes that with this card, they can rise to their former glory once again. Especially if the first ever tag team match between The New Day and The Usos transpires!
