What’s the story?

On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was revealed that three top WWE Superstars have signed new contracts with the promotion.

Apparently, Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler & The Miz have all inked new deals with the WWE. Besides, a few details on the ongoing banter of Ziggler possibly leaving the WWE have also been noted.

In case you didn’t know…

Mojo Rawley has performed for the WWE from 2012, whereas Dolph Ziggler & The Miz have been with the company since 2004.

The professional wrestling community has been lately abuzz with speculation of Ziggler possibly parting ways with the WWE over his rumored disagreements with his role in the organization in recent years.

The heart of the matter

The WWE Superstars as well as performers from other promotions, in the modern-day pro-wrestling/sports-entertainment industry, are known to wait out for the best offer possible before signing long-term contracts with an individual promotion.

Accordingly, it’s now being revealed by The Observer that Mojo Rawley—a WWE Superstar that management is said to have high hopes from—has been signed to a new deal by the promotion. Besides, as we’d previously reported, part-time Hollywood star and full-time sports-entertainer The Miz has signed a 4-year deal that runs through 2022 with the WWE.

Meanwhile, Dolph Ziggler has also signed a new WWE deal, and although the exact duration of Ziggler’s & Rawley’s respective deals are unknown as of this time, the rough estimate of the same indicates that they’re valid for about 2-4 years.

Furthermore, the long-running rumors of Ziggler possibly leaving the WWE are unfounded, and experts now state that there was nothing concrete about said rumors, to begin with.

What’s next?

Mojo Rawley presently performs as a mid-card talent on the WWE’s SmackDown brand, as does Dolph Ziggler.

On the other hand, The Miz is the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion and is set to compete in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match at the Elimination Chamber PPV that takes place on February 25th. The winner of the match goes on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 34.

Author’s take

Kudos to the WWE for making the right decision by signing three supreme talents such as Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler & The Miz to long-term deals.

Here’s hoping we get to see this trio ascend to greater heights of success in the WWE, over the next few years.
