What's the story?

Per PWInsider, The Undertaker has not been officially scheduled to wrestle at WrestleMania 34.

Nevertheless, the Undertaker will indeed appear at WrestleMania 34. Besides, possible plans for his segment at the event have also been noted.

In case you didn't know…

The WWE have done their best to build up a feud between John Cena and The Undertaker, with Cena cutting promos on a weekly basis against the absent "Deadman".

While The Undertaker is yet to appear so as to accept or decline Cena's challenge, the initial belief within the professional wrestling community was that the two Superstars will indeed compete in a match at WrestleMania 34.

The heart of the matter

Apparently, it’s being noted that The Undertaker - who did not appear to answer Cena's challenge on the go-home edition of RAW this week - could surprise the WWE Universe with something unexpected at WrestleMania 34 after all.

However, as of this time, The Undertaker is not scheduled to wrestle at the Show of Shows, but is most definitely set to appear at ‘Mania.

Furthermore, it was emphasised that The Undertaker could have a face-off segment with John Cena at WrestleMania 34, which in turn may lead to a future feud between them in the months to come.

What's next?

Fans can expect The Undertaker to appear at WrestleMania 34 which takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana this Sunday on April 8th.

Despite having teased the matchup over the past few weeks, the WWE is yet to confirm as to whether The Undertaker is competing against John Cena at ‘Mania 34.

Author's take

Honestly speaking, the tension and suspense that the WWE have expertly built up surrounding this feud is intense, to say the least. With that being said, the current card is already stacked and doesn't really require any additional star-studded matchups, so to speak.

Considering that, the WWE could benefit by utilising the highly-intriguing Undertaker vs John Cena feud at some stage during the latter half of this year instead.
