From the WWE Rumor Mill: More details on the plans for Nia Jax-Enzo Amore romance angle
What's in store for Nia Jax as she looks to involve herself with the current Cruiserweight Champion?
What’s the story?
In case you didn’t know...
On this week’s episode of Raw, Amore was talking to other members of the Cruiserweight Division regarding his thoughts on his future opponent for the Cruiserweight Champion.
After the cruiserweights left the area, Amore turned around and saw Jax smiling at him and using the Cruiserweight Champion’s catchphrase.
The two WWE Superstars have also interacted on Twitter which has led many fans to believe that an onscreen relationship between the two will develop in episodes going forward.
The heart of the matter
Jax’s is reported to appear on the 205 Live tour next year in January which means she may appear on 205 Live prior to their first live event. The headlining match for the tour is expected to be Amore defending his Cruiserweight Championship against Kalisto with Jax serving as the special guest referee.
If Jax and Amore are developing an onscreen relationship, then Jax could officiate the match in favor of Amore during the tour, but that is pure speculation.
The last time a woman served as a referee for a Men’s Championship match was back at the 2012 Money in the Bank pay-per-view when AJ Less was the guest official for the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and CM Punk.
WWE announced via Twitter that the 205 Live tour will begin Friday, Jan. 19 at the Ryan Center in Kingston, Rhode Island and will end Sunday, Jan. 21 at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York.
There is only one online pre-sale for the Jan. 20 show in Lowell, Massachusetts at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium using the code "205LIVE" on Ticketmaster. The other shows are expected to have an online pre-sale soon.
While Jax is only slightly taller than Amore, she will practically tower over Kalisto if the two ever interact. The 205 Live tour is looking interesting one way or the other.
