From the WWE Rumor Mill: WWE faction to bring back trademark entrance at TLC

Imagine just how cool this moment could be!
Imagine just how cool this moment could be!

What's the story?

This week, we saw the most dominant faction in recent memory reunite on RAW, The Shield, confirmed participate in a marquee match at the TLC pay-per-view. According to a rumour on Cageside Seats, The Shield may even bring back their trademark entrance at the TLC pay-per-view.

In case you didn't know...

While The Shield dominated the main event scene of WWE for the entirety of 2012-14, Seth Rollins turned on his brothers and broke the faction up in 2014, aligning himself with The Authority. After three years, the trio finally aligned with each other on RAW this past week.

They will take on Braun Strowman, The Bar and The Miz in the main event of TLC. In case you forgot about the awesome threesome, they always entered the arena through the WWE Universe, and if the rumours are indeed true, we'll see them do so again.

If you don't remember how cool the entrance was, just see this:

The heart of the matter

Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns have seemingly come together to counteract the fact that Brock Lesnar will not be a part of the TLC pay-per-view and neither will John Cena. WWE is pulling out all the stops to negate the loss in viewership during the NFL season.

You cannot have a Shield reunion without the complete package. Therefore, it seems quite likely that the trio will enter through the WWE Universe when TLC comes around.

What's next?

With only one week to go before the pay-per-view happens this weekend, the go-home show before TLC should be a very packed one indeed.

"The Hounds of Justice" are currently on the prowl, and yes, anything can happen in the chaos.

Author's take

Honestly, I'm fine either way, with or without the trademark entrance. I just want the match to be good, and I also want Strowman to be protected, at the conclusion of the match. Else, I'm good!
