From the WWE Rumor Mill: John Cena getting a new look for movie role?

What's the story?

It looks like John Cena, the clean-cut face of WWE, is growing facial hair after years. Rumours suggest that Cena is changing up his look because of a new movie role. It is still not clear which movie this could be.

In case you didn't know...

John Cena broke up with longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella in April, days before they were supposed to get married. Cena and Bella started dating in 2012 before Nikki moved in with John Cena the next-year. One interesting facet about Nikki Bella moving in with John Cena was that she had to allegedly sign a 75-page relationship contract of sorts.

Bella and Cena got engaged at WrestleMania 33 after their match against The Miz and Maryse. Cena and Bella then broke up earlier in April allegedly due to Cena getting cold feet days before they were supposed to get married.

The heart of the matter

After many years as the clean-shaven face of WWE, it looks like John Cena is finally growing a beard. According to StillRealToUs, Cena is growing his facial hair for an upcoming movie role. We aren't sure which movie role the new look is for and with Cena having a number of projects, it could be any one of them.

What's next?

John Cena's next WWE appearance isn't known yet. His last appearance was a one-off at the Greatest Royal Rumble where he beat fellow veteran Triple H.

Cena looks great with facial hair and after years of seeing him as a clean-cut do-gooder, I hope WWE gives him one good run as a heel in the coming years.
