The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting on why Bayley was removed from the tag-team match at the MSG house show. She was advertised to face John Cena and Nikki Bella after teaming up with Elias.
In case you didn't know...
Elias ended up teaming up with Sonya Deville for the MSG show. Deville put on a good showing for herself and even took John Cena down after clocking him in the jaw. Cena and Bella still ended up going over after hitting dual finishers on Elias and Deville.
Elias previously teamed with Bayley in the WWE MMC.
The heart of the matter
The Observer is reporting that the reason WWE took Bayley out of the match is that she isn't a heel. They went with the tried and tested heels bs babyface dynamic instead by pairing Elias up with Absolution member Sonya Deville.

What's next?
John Cena will probably face the Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 and has been calling out the Deadman on RAW and social media. Elias seems to be in line to team up with former rival Braun Strowman at 'Mania.

Although Elias and Bayley teamed up in the MMC, WWE went with the tried and tested heel vs face dynamic for the MSG show. With Bayley set to feud with Sasha Banks, it looks like Bayley might be going to the dark side sometime very soon.
