A monumental night awaits us

The Royal Rumble has always been the most celebrated pay-per-view of the WWE and is perhaps preferred by some as a more astonishing event than WrestleMania. While the previous outings have disheartened legions of WWE fans, they would still look forward to this Sunday to enjoy the PPV.

The card of this year's Royal Rumble looks impressive with the inclusion of the inaugural Women's Royal Rumble Match which has added a new dimension to the wrestling business with this monumental achievement. Predicting the outcomes of the Royal Rumble match has become a necessity considering the anticipation the fans have for an event of such magnitude.

Here are the full match card predictions for the 2018 Royal Rumble

#6 The Usos (c) vs Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin in a 2-out-of-3-Falls match for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships

A show stopper if booked right

The Usos will defend the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship this Sunday against the talented duo of Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin in a 2-out-of-3-Falls match. While this match has all the potential to be the match of the night, it would be relegated to the Kick-Off show to fill the time for two Royal Rumble matches. The Usos have taken the SmackDown tag-team division by storm and have constantly excelled within the ropes to deliver some monumental matches. The one against The New Day being one such example.

Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin are two extremely versatile athletes and would definitely enter the match with a lot of focus. But it would be a damn shame if WWE takes the title off The Usos considering that they have ruled the division and that they continue to elevate the standards of tag team wrestling on a weekly basis.

Both teams will show quality athleticism in this solid bout with The Usos getting the pin in the final moments to seal the deal. A match of this stature would definitely help both the teams to display their versatility and look equally strong.

Final Prediction: The Usos retain the SmackDown Live Tag-Team Championships

#5 Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan (c) vs The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championships

This riv
This rivalry needs to end this SundayIt is definitely a disappointing prospect to not see 'The Architect' in the main event picture. But there's no denying that his inclusion in the tag-team scene has brought much star power to this division. After 'The Lunatic Fringe' suffered an unfortunate injury, Kurt Angle made Jason Jordan as Seth's new partner and the most surprising part came when they actually won the Raw Tag Team Championships on the Christmas telecast of Raw.

However, there have been rumours swirling around that Seth Rollins is now scheduled to face his current partner, Jason Jordan at WrestleMania. No matter how unfortunate it feels, WWE will still build this match considering 'The Architect' has no legitimate dance partner for the 'Show of Shows'.

The 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw saw the seeds being sown between the two which could lead to Jordan turning on his partner this Sunday. Expect this match to be a fun bout with Rollins displaying solid willpower to hold on to the title but an unfortunate distraction from Jason would cost them the titles this Sunday. The Bar needs the title more than them and would likely move ahead to clash with talented teams like The Revival ot The Balor Club.

Final Prediction: The Bar wins the Raw Tag Team Championships

#4 AJ Styles (c) vs Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match for the WWE Championship

T
'The Phenomenal One' will look to defend his pride this Sunday

Now, this is a match that could have a lot of outcomes amalgamated with beautiful storytelling to set different feuds for the future. WWE's way of booking PPV matches is genuinely predictable. While this match still falls in this category, a spark of tension between the duo could make this match exciting & fresh.

AJ Styles is a versatile performer and definitely has earned the respect of the higher management. Since he is rumoured to face 'The King of Strong Style' at 'The Grandest Stage of Them All', it would be foolish to take the championship off him this Sunday. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, on the other hand, have entertained the WWE Universe with their heel antics and have solidified their position as the top guys on the blue brand. With WWE booking this match with a stipulation of this sort, it seems inevitable that a monumental turn awaits us.

It would be silly on WWE's part if they let the WWE Champion win clean this Sunday. A monumental turn by 'The Prizefighter' on his best friend seems the perfect way to go and would definitely add some spark and eyeballs to the blue brand. Sami & Kevin will definitely become WWE Champions one day but that day won't come this Sunday.

Final Prediction: AJ Styles retains the WWE Championship

#3 Brock Lesnar (c) vs Braun Strowman Vs Kane for the Universal Championship

Three n
This match will be a brawl

This match has been booked very cleverly keeping in mind the ability and stock of each superstar with 'The Monster Among Men' coming out the most vicious and most devastating. WWE's idea of pushing Braun to the moon by decimating what comes in his way has been successful and this would definitely be displayed this Sunday too. Since the inception of this feud, Strowman has annihilated both his opponents to the extent of actually killing them.

The WWE Universe definitely have Braun as the favourite to win the match but this possibility will not come in full fruition this Sunday. The Beast will unleash the pain making Kane and Strowman his victims. 'The Beast Incarnate' is scheduled to face 'The Big Dog' at WrestleMania 34 for the Universal Championship which alone is the assurance that Brock will not be conquered this Sunday.

Kane's inclusion in the match is definitely to take the pin. Since it has been rumoured to be his final match, it would be an ideal way for him to put Strowman over and get pinned by Lesnar in the final stages of the match. WWE must keep the title on Brock Lesnar but should equally focus on making 'The Monster Among Men' look like a million bucks this Sunday.

Final Prediction: Brock Lesnar retains the Universal Championship

#2 The Women's Royal Rumble Match

It's about damn time that the W
History will be written this Sunday

WWE will host the First-Ever Women's Royal Rumble match which promises to be historical in all proportions. The Women's Revolution has taken WWE by storm with the unending willingness of several talented women on the main roster who have constantly made statements in the ring with their versatile performances. The inclusion of Stephanie McMahon on the announce team of this monumental match has brought more attention and excitement to the match.

WWE will make history this Sunday and since the match will have 30 competitors, there would definitely be tons of NXT Call-ups, 'One Night Only' returns and a shocking debut too. The match has a lot of potential to be a classic. Despite the fact that these talented women will deliver what is expected of them, a monumental debut by Ronda Rousey could seal the deal and set the Women's division on fire.

The possibilities are endless with top favourite's being Ronda Rousey, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax. This match has the potential to be a solid memorable bout. With Stephanie's inclusion in the match, there could be a possibility where she intentionally eliminates Rousey to set a dream match at WrestleMania. If that's the vision WWE follows this Sunday, then 'the Empress of Tomorrow' will definitely walk out of the Wells Fargo Center as the winner of the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble.

Final Prediction: Asuka wins the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match

Who will win the Royal Rumble?

The main event of this year's Royal Rumble has created a lot of speculation regarding the potential winner between critics and fans alike. They are predicting different possibilities and these speculations add a lot of excitement and freshness to this monumental match. The WWE Universe has been disappointed with the previous outcomes of the Royal Rumble match and would tune in this Sunday hoping for a surprising denouement.

17 of the 30 entrants have been announced as of January 25th and with 13 spots left to fill, WWE definitely needs to pull out all the stops. They can deliver a classic entertainer amalgamated with shocking returns unpredictability. Originally, a SmackDown Live superstar was rumoured to win the Royal Rumble this year. With Shinsuke Nakamura emerging as the top favourite from the blue brand to headline WrestleMania and continuing to have the odds in his favour with Roman Reigns and John Cena being the other favourites.

Imagining the possibilities surrounding the match and the disappointment that has been bestowed upon the previous outings, it seems like a definite possibility that 'The King of Strong Style' will eliminate Roman Reigns and John Cena to walk out of the Wells Fargo Center as the winner and punch his ticket to 'the Grandest Stage of Them All'.

Final Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura wins the Men's Royal Rumble match
