What's the story?

Global Force Wrestling has their fair share of doubters at the current moment. Hurricane Helms was once a proud part of the GFW family but since he left the company it doesn't seem like he's holding anything back.

In case you didn't know...

Fans might remember The Hurricane during his run with WWE as he delighted crowds all over with his superhero gimmick. He took on a Super Hero In Training in the form of Rosey and captured the WWE Tag Team Championships in the process. But nothing gold can stay and he left the company in 2010.

After parting ways with WWE, Hurricane Helms spent some time on the independent wrestling scene for a bit. But in 2015 he took a job with Impact Wrestling as an agent.

While with Impact Wrestling, Helms helped plenty of people out including the Broken Hardys. But now that he's no longer with Impact Wrestling, he's not shying away from his opinion of the company.

The heart of the matter

Johnny Mundo/Nitro/Morrison/Hennigan/Impact debuted on GFW recently and there could be plans to make him a top star with the company.

However, his merchandise from GFW might leave something to be desired.

Hurricane Helms found the newest Johnny Impact design to be a little lacklustre, to say the least, as he humorously said the new shirt was designed on Windows Paint.

What's next?

Hopefully, there is enough time for GFW to have a next phase in the company. With reports that Anthem Sports could be looking to sell their pro wrestling company things might be up in the air until new television tapings are announced after Bound For Glory.

Author's take

Hurricane Helms is hilarious. If you've never heard him in an interview where he's allowed to be himself while talking about his farm work and the pro wrestling business it's a real treat. Sometimes a t-shirt design can underwhelm, and we're glad Hurricane decided to make a statement about Johnny Impact's new merch because it certainly put a smile on my face.
