What’s the story?
Reno Scum is a great tag team with a ton of capability. They have the tools needed to succeed in the business and looked to be on their way to making a big name for themselves. But an injury to Adam Thornstowe took the team out of action, however, it looks like they'll be ready to get back to business very soon.
The Background
Reno Scum is a team worth paying attention to. Just the fact that Scum stands for "Socially Corrupt Underground Militia" should be enough of a reason to think they're awesome. Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstowe have big goals in pro wrestling and they're well on their way.

Before their debut in GFW, Reno Scrum were in ROH and other indie feds. But they were also a part of the original incarnation of Global Force Wrestling in 2015 and almost became the first-ever GFW Tag Team Champions but were defeated by The Bollywood Boyz (now The Singh Brothers).
It seems this team has come full circle as they wound up in GFW once more. The former All-Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions were hungry to prove what they could do but injuries can come at the worst times as if they're ever convenient.
Reno Scum made their GFW return in March, 2017 and were immediately paired up against teams which put them on the top level of the tag division. But one month later Adam Thornstowe suffered a torn bicep that halted their momentum.
The heart of the matter
A torn bicep muscle isn't the end of the world but it certainly threw a monkey wrench in Reno Scum's plans. However, recent reports are Thornstowe has been cleared for a return to action so Reno Scum can get back to action.
The team has started taking bookings again which means they should be on track to make a name for themselves in pro wrestling once more.
What's next?
Global Force Wrestling taped all of their television shows up to November so don't expect to see Reno Scum return on TV before then. But the two are expected to be a part of GFW's set of tapings in November.
2018 will be the Year Of Reno Scum if Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend have anything to say about it.
Author's take
If GFW can keep guys like Reno Scum on their television it will provide even more of a reason to watch Impact Wrestling on a weekly basis.
These two guys are highly entertaining and it's great to hear Thornstowe appears to be recovered from his recent injury.
