#4. Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley was becoming repetitive and needed a definitive ending at Hell in a Cell

Drew McIntyre lost his final shot at the WWE Championship last night at Hell in a Cell when he was defeated by Bobby Lashley. McIntyre has challenged Lashley a number of times in recent months for his Championship but has been unable to defeat the former MMA star.

It was decided that McIntyre would be handed one last shot at the title following his victory over Kofi Kingston but to ensure that this was definitely his final chance, it was made into a stipulation for the match.

The WWE Universe has become quite vocal about the fact that Drew McIntyre has now been in the WWE Championship picture since his Royal Rumble win back in 2020. McIntyre went on to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania before then stepping into a feud with Randy Orton where he lost the Championship at last year's Hell in a Cell.

McIntyre later lost the Championship to The Miz after he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract earlier this year and has been trying to take the Championship back from Lashley in the months that have followed.

It appears that it's finally time for another superstar to step into the Championship picture and Drew McIntyre can then have a much-needed rest.
