From The Impact Wrestling Rumor Mill: James Storm leaving the company soon
After leaving Impact Wrestling, could James Storm be headed back to WWE?
What’s the story?
As per PWInsider, James Storm is all set to part ways with Impact Wrestling.
Apparently, although Storm’s contract is valid till the commencement of 2018; as Impact Wrestling is taping several months’ episodes in advance, he may be working his last dates over the next few days.
In case you didn’t know…
James Storm gained considerable notoriety in the world of professional wrestling alongside Bobby Roode; with their popular Tag Team ‘Beer Money’ featuring in all of TNA’s top storylines.
Besides, Storm has been with Impact Wrestling since the early-2000s, only briefly leaving the company, working for NXT in 2015, before returning to TNA again.
The heart of the matter
James Storm will reportedly work his last dates with Impact Wrestling next week, ergo the Impact tapings that take place after Bound For Glory.
On that note, Storm’s contract with Impact Wrestling runs out in January of next year, however, TNA-parent company Anthem are now taping several months’ worth of content; extending well beyond the expiry date of the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion’s deal.
The Cowboy may very well compete inside the Impact Zone for the very last time next week.
James Storm and Impact are likely to officially announce his departure from Impact Wrestling very soon. Sportskeeda will keep fans updated on the same.
James Storm is a TNA legend and it’ll be a sad day to see him bid adieu to the company where he rose to prominence and gave fans tons of great memories.
As a huge fan of Beer Money and longtime follower of the Cowboy James Storm here’s wishing this iconic figure good luck in his future endeavours. Could he possibly be headed to the WWE? Only time will tell.
