Impact Wrestling News: Low Ki and other stars have signed new deals with Impact Wrestling

Braxton Sutter and Allie have signed new deals with Impact Wrestling.

What’s the story?

As reported by PWInsider, Impact Wrestling has signed Low Ki and Christina Von Eerie, with the former making a comeback after a 2-year hiatus from the company. Dezmond Xavier has also reportedly signed with Impact.

Besides, Braxton Sutter and Allie have also reportedly signed new and improved deals with the company.

In case you didn’t know...

Low Ki (real name- Brandon Jonathan Silvestry), Christina Von Eerie (Christina Maria Kardooni), Dezmond Xavier, Braxton Sutter (Jesse Guilmette) and Allie (Laura Dennis) have all signed new deals with Impact Wrestling.

The company has seen the departure of a few big names such as the Hardys, Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis among others since Anthem Sports and Entertainment has taken over the reins of the company in late-2016.

The heart of the matter:

Low Ki has performed for the WWE as Kaval and is best known for his on-again-off-again run with Impact Wrestling. His current ‘comeback’ to Impact marks his fourth stint with the company. Furthermore, Christina Von Eerie has previously performed for the promotion under the ring name Toxxin, before she signed with Global Force Wrestling (GFW) in 2015. Besides, Xavier who performed alongside Low Ki is now officially an Impact-signee.

As for the pre-existing stars of the company: Braxton Sutter and Allie, the real-life couple has reportedly signed a brand new agreement with the company that will see them in a more prominent role on Impact’s TV programming.

What’s next?

Low Ki made his surprise return at the April 20th episode of Impact Wrestling, winning the X Division championship in the main event of the evening. Fans can expect him as well as new signee Von Eerie is set to appear in the X Division and Knockouts Division matchups respectively in the weeks to come.

Allie and Sutter’s deal reportedly involves them being accorded a greater push by Impact management, especially given the fact that the company’s top-couple Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett have left the organisation for greener pastures.

Author’s take:

Now, I won’t fault you if you aren’t too high on these signings, but just hear me out. Low Ki is, in my opinion, one of the best wrestlers to have competed in Impact’s X Division and although his time with the Beat Down Clan, was forgettable, he is a genuine talent.

Besides, Von Eerie is a bit of an indie darling and her time in GFW will definitely help her perform on par with the Impact Knockouts roster. As for Sutter and Allie, big things await for the husband-wife duo in Impact Wrestling.
