An action-packed episode as always!
An action-packed episode as always!

This week's edition of Impact started with Moose & Stephan Bonnar entering the Impact Zone along with the championships they stole from American Top Team (ATT). A while later, ATT showed up backstage, and they didn't look happy.

Next, a recap of last week's #1 Contenders match was played where Johnny Impact defeated Garza Jr and he will now face Eli Drake at Bound for Glory for the Global Championship.

#1 Chris Adonis vs Johnny Impact

Impact jumped right after the bell and knocked out Adonis with a boot to the face. He quickly followed it up by assaulting Adonis with a barrage of elbow strikes. Somehow, Adonis fought his way out of this and trapped Johnny in a body lock for a two-count. Adonis signalled for the Adonis Lock, but Johnny managed to manoeuvre his way out of it.

Johnny regained his momentum by nailing Adonis with a bunch of kicks. Impact took down Adonis with a Swinging Neckbreaker for a two-count. He tried finishing off Adonis with a Springboard Spinning Kick, but again, could only get the two-count.

After the commercial, Impact & Adonis were fighting on the top-rope. Adonis crashed down from the top, thus allowing Impact to hit him with the Starship Pain for the win.

Result: Johnny Impact def. Chris Adonis

Post-match, Eli Drake tried to assault Impact, but Impact stopped him in his tracks and whipped Drake by using Drake's belt. Chris Adonis recovered and helped out his friend by attacking Impact. The assault on Impact continued until Garza Jr. came out with a chair, thus making the heels run away.

Next, a video package was aired of Alberto El Patron's return to Impact Wrestling at Bound for Glory.

#2 Team IMPACT vs Team AAA

Although labelled as "Team IMPACT vs Team AAA", this was almost like a five-way match with each man looking out for himself. The action spilt all around the ring and in the final moments of the match, EC3 tried nailing Fantasma with the One Percenter, but Fantasma countered it by hitting his finisher.

However, he couldn't make the pin due to some interference. At the end, amidst all this chaos, Texano Jr. pinned EC3 to pick-up the win.

Result: Texano Jr. def. James Storm, EC3, Eddie Edwards, El Hijo del Fantasma

oVe arrived in Tijuana, Mexico, to mess with LAX, even though Konnan warned them not to come back. One of Konnan's minions informed him that oVe wanted to LAX.

Konnan told him that if they wanted to meet LAX, they'd have to put the tag titles on the line at the next CRASH event.

Backstage, Team IMPACT's EC3 & James Storm argued about losing their match. Eddie Edwards informed them that he was leaving soon for Japan, and so they better sort out their differences before he gets back.

Right off the bat, Lee hit Everett with an upper hand by tripping Xavier from the outside. Everett enjoyed working over Xavier for a while before Dezmond made his comeback by nailing Everett with a cutter.

After a lot of high-spots, Xavier won the match by pinning Everett after nailing him with a kick to the head.

Result: Dezmond Xavier def. Andrew Everett

Back in the Impact Zone, Grado accused Park of taking away his hard-earned money. Grado put forward his evidence to back up his claims. Park came out and verified Grado's claims by saying that the temptation of cars, money, and women, was too difficult to resist.

Park told Grado that without his firm, Grado would've been deported back to England. Park informed Grado that he held all the power over him.

Grado demanded that Park hand over the reins to him, but Park changed his mind and instead challenged Grado to a match at Bound for Glory, with the stipulation that if Grado won then he would get to stay in America and if he lost then he goes back to England.

Park gave him the contract to the match and Grado signed it without reading the terms and conditions printed on it. Grado proceeded to leave the ring, but Park told him to wait for a moment because he missed two things.

The first was that their match at BFG was going to be a Monsters Ball match. And, secondly, it was going to be against Abyss.

Backstage, Grado's hurrying out of the arena. He gets into his car only to find James Mitchell sitting in the backseat. He informs Grado that he and Abyss are taking Grado straight to hell.

American Top Team, without Bobby Lashley, made their way to the ring. ATT's leader Dan Lambert cut a promo on how he's the biggest pro-wrestling fan in the Impact Zone by showing his collection of vintage championship belts.

Furthermore, he said that he wants King Mo and Bobby Lashley to take down Moose and Stephan Bonnar at Bound for Glory.

Moose and Bonnar come out to the ring carrying all the gold they stole from ATT's facility. Chaos ensued as ATT took down the duo and then celebrate over their beaten-up bodies.

They showed a recap of Taya Valkyrie debuting on Impact and her subsequent feud with Rosemary. One segment in the recap footage showed Taya misting Rosemary in her eyes.

#5 Taya Valkyrie vs Rosemary

Rosemary, looking for redemption, went after Taya. Taya seemed a bit stunned by Rosemary's erratic behaviour. The first half of the match was in Rosemary's control, and the crowd popped loud for this contest.

The action spilt outside the ring and Taya, cunningly, took her opportunity and rammed Rosemary's shoulder into the ring post. Taya then took over the second half of the match by working over the Demon Assassin.

Both women exchanged power moves before Taya caught Rosemary in a Northen Lights Suplex and then pinned her after nailing her with the Double Stomp.

Winner: Taya Valkyrie def. Rosemary

Post-match, Taya tried to finish-off Rosemary with the Road to Valhalla, but Rosemary misted her in the eyes before challenging her to a match at Bound for Glory.
