Another solid main event

Another important week for Impact Wrestling as we get closer and closer to the first ever Impact Wrestling Redemption pay-per-view on April 22, 2018, in Orlando, Florida.

This weeks show was to feature one of the final Impact matches of WWE superstar EC3, a commitment ceremony between Laurel Van Ness and her Impact Knockouts Championship and a main event between Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan, among more.

Will EC3 continue to lose?

After some yelling and taunting the crowd, Tyrus shoves EC3 into the corner. EC3 hits the floor and taunts the crowd some more. He then takes a phone from an audience member and hits the ring before Tyrus grabs him and throws him around.

The match continues to be comical as EC3 fails to body slam, chop and clothesline Tyrus. After gainng a little momentum with a successful t-bone suplex, Tyrus hits his own version of the One-Percenter, followed by a Chokeslam, for the 3 count.

El Hijo del Fantasma vs. Braxton Sutter

Not much luck lately

A quick one here. Braxton starts off with the advantage but quickly loses it after Fantasma hits a hurricanrana. After some back and forth exchanges, Sutter heelishly goes for a pin and puts his feet on the rope, but only gets a 2 count.

Fantasma then hits the Thrill of The Hunt for the 3.

Following the match, a frustrated Sutter hits the mic and says Allie was not with him because she ruins lives. He then said he's the biggest star on Impact and he can't believe the disrespect of not even getting an entrance on the show, but is then interrupted by Brian Cage who hits the Drill Claw on Sutter.

Kongo Kong (with Jimmy Jacobs) vs. Joseph Park

More domination

Another squash match. Kongo quickly dominates Park. Kongo chokes him in the corner before Park hits him with a headbutt that hurt Park more than Kong.

Kong hits a big splash in the corner and then from the top rope to take the win.

Jimmy Jacobs takes to the mic after the match and asks Park to bring out Abyss. Park says no, to which Jimmy responds with a beat-down saying they are only getting started.

Next, we have Caleb Konley and Trevor Lee celebrating at an outdoor party and brag about their donation over LAX, before talking about how they will win the Tag Team titles. Konann shows up for some trash talk before party guests The Mumbai Cats remove their masks, revealing Ortiz and Santana, who toss The Cult of Lee into the pool.

Hania vs. Rosemary

Before the match begins, Alberto El Patron says Austin Aries and Johnny Impact will have to face him soon and he will get his Global Championship back.

Yet another short match, Rosemary tosses around Hania, before she fights back with a kick and clothesline. Rosemary locks in an upside down submission, missile dropkick off the top rope, and an exploder suplex in succession, for a 2 count. She then hits the Red Wedding for the win.

Following the match, Taya Valkyrie makes her entrance. Rosemary gets in her face, ready to fight "Now!" but Valkyrie backs off.

Laurel Van Ness Commitment Ceremony

Up next we have Impact Knockout's Champion Laurel Van Ness's commitment ceremony with her Championship.

Braxton Sutter says he made a huge mistake by choosing Allie over her last year. He asks her to marry him, to which she replies with 'NO!' several times. KM comically says "Epic fail, bro!". He then asks if anyone any objects. No one does, to which Laurel says 'nobody has any problems, not even Allie?'. Allie sneaks in from behind in disguise and beats Laurel out of the ring.

Johnny Impact and Austin Aries hype their upcoming Impact World Championship match on next week's show.

Sami Callihan vs. Eddie Edwards

Can Eddie take them down?

Main event time. The only match on the show that was really any good. A fast start with multiple suicide dives to the floor by both men. The crowd is really into this, especially when Callihan hits a piledriver on the apron.

Some back and forth exchanges before Eddie counters Sami'a pin attempt into a pin of his own and gets the 3.

Sami attacks Eddie after the match. Lashley attempts a save but is stopped by oVe backstage. Callihan gives a thumbs up and thumbs down to end the show.
