Violent By Design was furious at former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Eddie Edwards for costing Deaner his match. Decay interrupted, laughing at the group for their failures.
As someone that was trained by Eric Young, Crazzy Steve was confused as to why the World Class Maniac would choose him.
Following that, he challenged Violent By Design to an IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Title Match at Against All Odds, with Deaner as one of the men defending the gold. Young accepted.
Moose vs Sami Callihan on IMPACT Wrestling
Sami Callihan sent Moose to the floor early, launching his body like a rocket into Mr. IMPACT Wrestling several times and taking him to the barricade. Moose responded with a boot and looked to powerbomb Sami onto the steel steps. Callihan got to the ropes but was powerbombed onto the apron instead.
Callihan avoided a spear into the barricade, sending Moose shoulder first into the steel. The Draw of IMPACT Wrestling wrapped Moose's arm in between the bars and hoofed it with a boot, leaving the latter screaming in agony. Callihan wrapped Moose up in an armbar as we cut to the final commercial break of the night.
Back in the ring, Callihan took Moose off the top rope for a death valley driver. Moose kicked out and took Callihan up for a superplex, one-armed. Callihan targeted the weakened limb and headbutted Moose, sending him careening to the mat. Before Callihan could dive off, Moose leaped to his feet and rushed up for the superplex, getting a near fall.
Callihan countered Lights Out with a pump kick. Moose stunned Callihan sitting on the top turnbuckle with a dropkick, following up with Go To Hell. It wasn't enough, as the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion kicked out. Callihan avoided another spear and set up for the Cactus Special with Moose's weak arm trapped.
Moose was spiked but kicked out. Callihan looked to follow up with the Package Piledriver, only to be attacked by The Good Brothers.
Results: Sami Callihan defeated Moose via DQ on IMPACT Wrestling.
Grade: B+
As the former IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions attacked Callihan and Moose, IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Kenny Omega strolled down to the ring. Omega, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows took turns driving their heels into the bodies of both men.
Backstage, Scott D'Amore ran down Don Callis while Omega and The Good Brothers left. Since Callihan was attacked first, technically he won by DQ. With that, it looked like Callihan was added to the IMPACT Wrestling World Title Match at Against All Odds.
Don Callis revealed that Callihan was on Tony Khan's blacklist, but D'Amore said that he'd already talked to Khan. Khan will be at IMPACT Wrestling to discuss Sami's involvement in the match next week.
