Taya Valkyrie was backstage with Melissa Santos and John E. Bravo, who was holding a sign saying 236. At the moment, Valkyrie was only a few days from breaking the record as longest reigning Knockouts Champion of all time. On Monday, she will accomplish that, but only if she can win tonight against her "big surprise."

We saw some footage from the Deaner compound where the Desi Hit Squad were busy working as a trio of hired hands. Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake said that they had worked hard, and deserved a day off. Rohit Raju was seen near the end admiring the horses and saying "I'm going to start my own stable," leading to anger from Gama Singh.

Sami Callihan cut a promo on Tessa Blanchard who interrupted his beat down of Tommy Dreamer last week. Callihan said that he and oVe are done with Dreamer, and he thought he was done with Blanchard when he beat her for the #1 contendership. However, it's been four weeks and he still hasn't been given the date of his title shot, and Tessa Blanchard is still in his hair.

The Draw wants to beat Brian Cage for the Impact World Championship, but at this point believes that he should be stripped of the title if he can't defend. Regardless of how he gets the belt, Callihan will be the face of Impact, and oVe will take over everything.

Knockouts Championship Match: Taya Valkyrie vs Big Mami

Valkyrie's big surprise was none other than Big Mami, a former mixed tag team champion from AAA. Mami danced around, and when Valkyrie began to twerk, knocked the champion into the ropes. An impressive Matrix bend from Mami allowed her to avoid a clothesline. However, Valkyrie kicked her legs out from under her, and took over there.

Mami was pelted with kicks to the back and head, followed up by a kick to the arm. Valkyrie worked over her arm, tying it up in the top rope. Mami tried to fight back with some chops, but the champion responded with some elbows to the jaw.

Valkyrie ran in for the double knees, but Mami escaped the corner, dropping her head first onto the mat. As the champ was set up in the corner, Mami connected with a stink face and a bronco buster. However, the moonsault was missed as Valkyrie rolled away.

Valkyrie leveled Mami with a knee to the jaw and forced her to tap with an STF.

Results: Taya Valkyrie defeated Big Mami via submission.

Valkyrie rubbed her victory in the faces of Big Mami and the crowd, but was cut short by the appearance of Tenille Dashwood. Dashwood strolled down to the ring where Valkyrie cut a promo on her in spanish. Dashwood brought her down with a double leg takedown and pelted her with a flurry of punches.

Bravo tossed her aside, allowing Valkyrie to escape. However, he took the shining wizard to the face for his trouble. Dashwood held the Knockouts Championship above her head as Valkyrie backed away.
