Josh Alexander sending a message to Ken Shamrock
Josh Alexander sending a message to Ken Shamrock

We're a little over a week away from IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary! Amid a pandemic and some other issues, IMPACT Wrestling has put together an incredible card for July 18th. Still, there's a lot more to build to before we get there.

Ken Shamrock found a surprising ally in Sami Callihan last week. With The Draw backing up the World's Most Dangerous Man, is The North's IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Title reign in jeopardy? Callihan faced Josh Alexander in singles action tonight.

Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie, now dubbed by myself as the Demon Valkyries, teamed up to take on Kylie Rae and Susie tonight. Rosemary and Valkyrie both have some serious history with Susie.

Well...with the alternate personality of Susie. Would they bring out Su Yung tonight? We kicked off IMPACT Wrestling with that tag team match!

IMPACT Wrestling Opener: Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie vs Susie & Kylie Rae

This isn't the kind of reunion we're used to seeing between these two
This isn't the kind of reunion we're used to seeing between these two

Rosemary taunted Susie in the beginning, calling her an idiotic little child. The Demon Assassin missed a Stinger Splash in the corner, and was sent overhead with a monkey flip. Susie rolled up Rosemary with a crucifix pinfall for a series of near falls.

Susie was slapped across the face, stumbling into her corner. Kylie Rae tagged in, leading to a trip up from Rae. Rosemary fell to a strong right from Susie, tagging out to Taya Valkyrie.

Kylie Rae brought down the former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion with a snapmare into a headlock. Rae transitioned into the STF, but Valkyrie made it to the ropes. Susie tagged back in, and the smiling duo dropped Valkyrie with a double bulldog for a two-count.

Rosemary caught Susie coming into the ropes with a kick, allowing Valkyrie to take over. Rosemary tagged in for a big boot/German suplex combination. Susie kicked out at two. Rosemary trapped Susie in the Upside Down while tagging in Taya Valkyrie.

Valkyrie connected with the running double knees, nearly knocking out Susie. She was able to tag in Kylie Rae, though, and the Smiling Knockout managed to take on both Vaklyrie & Rosemary by herself. A heel trip sent Rosemary into the corner where Rae followed up with a cannonball senton.

Sadly there were some technical difficulties during the Twitch stream. However, Kylie Rae did manage to pick up the win with the Smile to the Finish.

Results: Kylie Rae & Susie defeated Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary via submission.

Johnny Swinger and Chris Bey were backstage on IMPACT Wrestling talking about the Ultimate Finesser's X-Division Championship match at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary. Swinger said he had a great plan, and for Bey to trust in him.

IMPACT Wrestling: The Deaners vs Reno Scum vs XXXL vs TJP & Fallah Bahh

All four teams began brawling before the match could begin. TJP & Fallah Bahh handled Reno Scum and Cousin Jake. However, a big splash from the top by Cody Deaner took them out. XXXL splattered Deaner with a double body splash leading to a seven-man brawl on the floor.

A dive from Cousin Jake left everyone down. When we returned from the break, Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend were working over Cody Deaner. A brawl broke out again, but Deaner couldn't get back to his partner in time. Luster and Thornstowe continued to beat him down.

Romero tagged in and dropped Deaner with a headbutt. Deaner responded with a backbreaker but was laid out again by Larry D. Cousin Jake and TJP rushed the ring, as did everyone else eventually. Following a shmoz, Acey Romero and Cody Deaner were left on the mat.

TJP & Fallah Bahh took Reno Scum up the ramp, brawling to the back. Deaner and Acey made it to their respective corners, bringing in Larry D and Cousin Jake. Larry D leveled Jake with a clothesline and a spinebuster.

As Acey Romero took out Cody Deaner with a Pounce, Larry D lit up Jake with a striking combination. However, Jake managed to pick up an upset victory with a spinning sidewalk slam.

Results: The Deaners defeated XXXL via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: C-

Backstage on IMPACT Wrestling, TJP & Fallah Bahh were still brawling with Reno Scum. TJP dove off a lift, taking out all three men below. Bahh put his tag team partner in a garbage can, using him as a battering ram against Luster and Thornstowe.

Scum, however, were able to win the fight by sending Bahh headfirst into the wall. TJP was launched into some unused barricades and barriers by them.

Backstage on IMPACT Wrestling, Swinger was still looking for a way to help Chris Bey at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary. He went through a few bags backstage, finding the costumes of both Super Eric and Suicide. Swinger opted for the Suicide getup before walking off.

Acey Romero is gonna hate that Swinger went through his bag.

Backstage, Ken Shamrock met with Sami Callihan. The two weren't entirely sure why they were helping one another, but Callihan said it was possible they could become the World's Most Dangerous Tag Team. Shamrock smiled at the idea.

Jordynne Grace has been plagued by the rampant attacks of Deonna Purrazzo. Tonight, she hoped to build some momentum to her Slammiversary title defense.

IMPACT Wrestling: Jordynne Grace vs Kimber Lee

Jordynne Grace tried to overpower Kimber Lee early on, and nearly connected with a Grace Driver within a minute of the match. Lee moved to the ropes and bit the finger of the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion.

Grace bounced Lee around the ring and planted her hard with a spinebuster. Lee kicked out and tripped Grace up, sending her throat first into the ropes. She locked in a modified double arm wrench using her legs to lock in the submission. Grace broke away.

Grace built up some momentum with some slams and a forearm before spiking Lee with a Michinoku Driver. Somehow Lee kicked out, just in time. The Grace Driver was stopped again, and Lee battered her with a kicking combination.

A Swanton Bomb connected, but couldn't get the job done. Lee picked up her brass knuckles to knock out the champion, but couldn't connect. Grace planted her with the Grace Driver, giving her a much needed win before IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary.

Results: Jordynne Grace defeated Kimber Lee via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B+

Deonna Purrazzo's music hit, but she only appeared on the screen. Purrazzo said she's not the only one that sees that IMPACT Wrestling is "ripe for the picking." What does that mean? Will Purrazzo have help at Slammiversary?

A promo for the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship match at Slammiversary. Ace Austin, Eddie Edwards, and Trey are looking to become the next face of IMPACT Wrestling. However, the mystery fourth opponent was yet to be revealed, and it could very well be the "Former World Champion" that's been teased over the past month.

IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Willie Mack met "Suicide" backstage and said he was excited to see him in the ring for the X-Division Title Match tonight. "Suicide" looked a bit worried.

On this week's episode of Locker Room Talk, Madison Rayne interviewed multi-time IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion and locker room leader...Madison Rayne! The Queen of the Knockouts made a huge announcement, stating that she'd be making her in-ring return at the Knockouts Battle Royal at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary.

She was interrupted by Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz and Havok & Nevaeh, who began brawling.

Hernandez was making some more cash arm wrestling backstage when Rhino appeared. They locked up, but were cut short for the upcoming X-Division Match.

IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Championship Match: Johnny Swinger vs Willie Mack (c)

Johnny Swinger hit Willie Mack with a very slow spinning back kick. Mack sent him into the ropes, and his opponent failed to correctly go "Spider-Man." He attempted to lock the champion in the abdominal stretch, but couldn't get his arms around him correctly.

Swinger went for the swinging neckbreaker, but stopped himself so he wouldn't blow his cover. He moved to the top but fell, nearly knocking himself out. Willie Mack dropped him with a Stunner for the victory.

Results: Willie Mack defeated Johnny Swinger via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Tommy Dreamer made an apology to Moose for the comments he made on IMPACT Wrestling last week, a written one that was looked over by his attorney "Tricky Dicky" Heyman.

Dreamer followed up, claiming that Moose didn't know who Emmitt Smith or Bruno Sammartino were, and believes the Earth is flat. Moose...well...he confirmed that second statement. Dreamer also challenged Moose for the TNA World Title at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary.

IMPACT Wrestling Main Event: Josh Alexander w/Ethan Page vs Sami Callihan

Josh Alexander was dumped to the floor by a clothesline. A diving knee laid out the Walking Weapon, but Ethan Page distracted Sami Callihan. Still, Callihan held onto the momentum, sending Alexander into the barricade.

A Death Valley Driver on the floor left Alexander screaming in agony as Ethan Page checked on his partner. Alexander responded by driving Callihan spine first into the ring before dropping him with a suplex on the apron.

Alexander followed up, hammering away at Callihan in the ring with brutal punches and kicks. A series of elbows stunned the former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. Callihan responded with a disastrous discus clothesline. The Cactus Special was countered, leading to a pump kick from Alexander.

Callihan reversed a suplex, spiking Alexander with the brainbuster. Again, Alexander managed to turn things around. A Shamrock-style Ankle Lock left Callihan drained on the apron.

Still, Callihan was able to counter a move on the apron with a thumb to the eye. The Cactus Special connected. The ref was taken out by Page, leading to him almost hitting Callihan with his own finish.

However, Ken Shamrock rushed the ring, yanking Page to the floor with the Ankle Lock. Page was screaming bloody murder while Callihan spiked Alexander with another Cactus Special.

Results: Sami Callihan defeated Josh Alexander via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: A-

Again, Callihan refused to shake the hand of Ken Shamrock after the match.
