Impact Wrestling Results (June 21st, 2019): The Impact World Champion is back, former WWE Champion explodes on the scene

Johnny Impact, accompanied by John E. Bravo, talked to Melissa Santos about the triple threat match tonight. Impact said that Elgin made the wrong choice last week, attacking the former world champion. Tonight, Big Mike has to answer to the Mayor of Slamtown.

He also announced that he'll be cashing in his X-Division Championship opportunity at Slammiversary.

Knockouts Championship Match: Su Yung w/James Mitchell & Jessicka Havok vs Taya Valkyrie

Valkyrie and Yung kicked off the match with forearm strikes. Yung avoided an attack in the corner, rocking the champion with a clothesline. Valkyrie avoided the Panic Switch and launched her challenger across the ring with a German suplex.

Yung was spiked on the bottom turnbuckle with another German suplex, seemingly knocking her out. She managed to kick out, but struggled to get up to her feet. A running hip attack in the corner followed by a running double knee strike gave her a two-count. Still, Yung kicked out.

The Knockouts Champion taunted the crowd, allowing Yung to recover, sending her into the corner and drop kicking her backside, sending her into the ring post. A head scissors into the middle turnbuckle pad gave her a two count.

Valkyrie was locked in the Lotus Lock, but managed to escape Yung's grasp. A Curb Stomp prevented Yung from attempting the Mandible Claw, following up with the Divorce Court. The Champion stood on top of the turnbuckle to gloat, frustrating Havok, who quickly leaped onto the apron and struck Valkyrie, ending the match in DQ.

Results: Taya Valkyrie defeated Su Yung via DQ.

James Mitchell brought Havoc in side the ring, and both she and Yung were ready to jump on Valkyrie. Rosemary made the save, though, allowing Valkyrie to escape.

Mitchell said that this was an expected move by her, and decided that this was a night for celebration. So, with that in mind, he invited Rosemary, Valkyrie, Yung, and Havok to a special "ball."

On July 7th, at Slammiversary, all four Knockouts will be fighting inside the Monster's Ball.
